Re: May 10 Birmingham - Tour stop #6

Twas a fantastic show :) Eugene was hilarious and two hours of Conchords was more than I'd expected. I was planning on waiting around to try and find the meet and greet but figured on at least an hours wait and the show didn't finish till 11pm...damn you, early morning start for work! I felt sorry f...

Re: Will the Conchords offend Australia?

Unless we're going to go down the road that all national stereotypes are barred from comedy, then Keitha should be fine :) It's really no worse than, for example, English people being either a) Silly posh idiots or b) sinister scheming villains in 99% of appearances in Hollywood films. And being Eng...

Re: Plight of the Conchords

I understand why people might not want to see a S3. But I trust B&J to make it work if it goes ahead. I'm sure they wouldn't let it get boring, or skimp on the huge amount of effort they obviously put into it. I love the radio series too, but I'm always wary of anyone playing the "oh I like...

Hadn't heard the radio version before - recognised the Rolf Harris bit, for one, as different to the CD version. V funny!

Re: April 30th - St. Louis, Missouri

You can tell the guys long for an audience that understands the characters on Flight of the Conchords do not comprise the musical act. Every time season three or a "Where's Murray?" question was asked, Jemaine looked incredibly frustrated. Poor Jemaine! I don't blame him...why would anyon...

Maybe Bret is pregnant with Jemaine's baby...Mel's (and maybe some other fans too? hehe) dream come true!

Re: Unpopular opinions?

I wasn't keen on "Love is a weapon of choice" from Season 2...funny video but the lyrics aren't up to the usual witty Conchords-ian standards... And I think they should have used Demetri more in Season 1, but that's just because I love Demetri. Those are the only complaints I can think of :)

Re: April 22 - Toronto (second of two nights)

Aw, poor Jemaine, suffering at the hands (quite literally, in the groping sense) of rabid, impolite fans. But a great tale and a lovely pic!

Re: Telegraph UK- Flight of the Conchords: fasten your seatbelts

That was brilliant, ta for the post :)

Jemaine's mum was a cheese worker...I don't know why I like that so much, but I do!

And Jemaine in a cupboard while Bret gets attacked by wasps...aww...that could be straight out of a TV episode.

Me too! I hope they give it a better time slot than they're giving the Season 1 repeats.
