Re: The Muppet Movie!

Despite little Mr. eejm asking, "Why are we staying through the credits?" I stayed to see all of the songs that Bret's name was attached to. And, not surprisingly, I could identify pretty much every song he'd written. They just sounded like our Bretty. :) And when Walter and Gary woke up i...

Re: Boardwalk Empire

Discuss the HBO show here. It's a good one, if you haven't been watching. I have a problem keeping the "hoors" straight. Is the pregnant chick the same one that was living with Nucky at the beginning of the series, or is it someone else? And what about that creepy FBI guy? Eeeeew. I'm als...

Re: Demetri Martin

It would have been tough to play in the biohazard suit, anyway.

(Just so it rhymes.)

Re: Demetri Martin

Demetri Martin has a small role in the new Stephen Soderberg film Contagion. He plays a CDC researcher, and wears a biohazard suit during most of his scenes. I kept waiting for him to bring out the keytar, but sadly, he never did.

There's an OB-GYN here named Dr. Semen. Yes, really.

Sadly, his first name is not Richard. :)

Re: Uncontrollable Giggle Fits

So, today I left work and walked over to the next street where I park my car. I pulled on the handle to get into the car and it was locked. I thought that was weird because I never lock my car, but who knows, maybe I hit the lock button by mistake while I was getting out. :dunno: So I unlock the ca...

I'm pretty sure this was the reject album from the Napoleon Dynamite dance sequence.

Re: Off topic blather

Phish Takho is from My Name is Earl, but I don't remember the rest of the storyline. I just remember that a homeless guy was part of the group, somehow becoming part of Earl's entourage.

Tropical Storm Bret is weakening. It's pretty clear that he's bulimic.

Re: I Turn My Camera On

I got altitude sickness once in Colorado. It made me very dizzy, nauseous, and sleepy. After taking a long nap I felt fine. It happened to me after going up into Rocky Mountain National Park, so I think it was the very rapid change in elevation.

I'm thinking he got really drunk at the wedding and started throwing up. Classic sign that he's bulemic.

It's Iain Morris's wedding! Iain and Damon Beesley wrote The Actor and Unnatural Love. They're also the co-creators of The Inbetweeners.

I want Bretty to play at my wedding. :supz:

Re: Call Me Pearl: The NZ Culture Thread

Aw, Happy Feet looks so lonely on Peka Peka Beach. He probably doesn't understand why he hasn't seen any of his friends in so long. If he can't be relocated to Antarctica, send him up to the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha. They have an awesome penguin habitat, and Happy Feet would have snow to eat and fr...
