Re: Eagle vs Shark

For those that haven't seen it, it is available on Encore On Demand from your local cable/satellite providers that offer On Demand programming.

Re: April 26 - Madison, Wisconsin

Yeah, the yelling of "Freebird" was started as a way to tell a band that basically their songs suck so they should play covers instead. Now idiotic fans like to yell it to be witty, but the guys have been turning the joke back on them. And I hate to dis the song, but it's actually good. Th...

Re: 2009 Tour - Camera/Cellphone/Bag Policies

Not at all, ardy. I'm assuming ladies had their cameras in their purses and the fellas had them in a pocket. Myself, I had mine in my jacket pocket, and nobody noticed.

Re: The Tour Posters

Nope, sorry Kelly, each was individual. That would be the perfect fan pack though. Then again, they'd have to charge maybe $5 less to offset the redundancy lof paying the same price as you would normally.

Re: The Tour Posters

Edit: Kelly, by signed, I think they meant signed by the artist... If it's worth anything at all, I wound up paying $50 total for the shirt/poster/magnets combo. Every shirt I saw was $25, even ladies sizes (Which I wound up paying to hold it for three hours.) The Ryman poster was $20 and handed out...

Re: April 10 - Nashville, TN

Someone yelled "Play another song!" in the middle of one they were already singing and Jemaine stopped and said "Not yet." To be fair, I believe it was during a lull in "Robots" and the heckler yelled, "BINARY SOLO!" But anyways, these reviews are great. They...

Re: April 10 - Nashville, TN

These meet & greet pics were great! I'll probably get my autograph fix by sending a SASE to a venue somewhere down the line and hopefully the guys will oblige. The show was just so awesome, that it's hard to remember some of my mishaps , especially the t-shirt which I am still sore over, but at ...

Re: 2009 Tour - Camera/Cellphone/Bag Policies

The Ryman, here in Nashville, was very strict regarding cameras. People did bring in cameras, but if they were spotted, the ushers were IMMEDIATELY there to call a halt to the picture taking. :( My daughter managed to get three pics during the show before being "disciplined" by the usher....

Re: April 10 - Nashville, TN

I'm sure they did do meet and greets, but I didn't get a chance to hold my end of the bargain...

Jemaine was in his denim, but he did take of the jacket before an encore and had a normal shirt on. Bret ditched his leather jacket after "Dicks" I believe.

Re: April 10 - Nashville, TN

The Gig: Great! A+! Kristen was hilarious. I got to see Jemaine work those snake hips of his, there were some specific Nashville-related banter, including the mocking of country accents. Then the guys even let the crowd have an open floor to do their own impressions of Kiwis, which there was one spo...

Re: April 10 - Nashville, TN

Mainly, the tornadoes hit Murfreesboro, an outside suburb. I heard the sirens at about 12 or 1 PM local time, and all of the storms have passed. Downtown Nashville, where the gig is at, is practically the same sparse from the average storm damage.

Edit: *As far as I know....

April 10 - Nashville, TN

28 hours to go! :supz:

Anyways, this seems to be the first more-intimate venue they play in on the tour as the Ryman's 3000 seats look to be right on top of the stage. I was reading elsewhere, that the venue has some of the best acoustics, so I'm pretty excited!

I don't know about all of the talk in the "Etiquete " thread, but there may be some dancing, some quite embarrasing dancing. Just only if there are others, though.

Re: April 6 - Tampa

As for comments on him, they did refer to him by name, and his apparent nickname, "Cello Dawg" (Which would make a great username)
