Re: Toronto- April 21+22nd

Woo! Hope its a cracking gig. Still jealous though :snakeman: Can us Brits persuade someone who's going to try and meet the boys to ask them about coming to the UK? :D Someone has already - Bret said they were going to try really hard. Oh! :-o Thanks, and thanks to whoever asked, if they pass by :-)

Re: Toronto- April 21+22nd

I'm so excited, too! I can't wait to hear reports back! I hope Turnip gets a big hug from Bret. Oh yes Turnip deserves the biggest hug from Bret-y and I'm sure the boys will be won over by her charm! Go Turnip for representing us British fans :cheer: Woo! Hope its a cracking gig. Still jealou...

Re: What do you want to be when you grow up?

At the age of 29 I haven't given up hope of developing super powers :D

On a (only very slightly) more realistic note, I'd like to finish the novel that's taking me forever to put together and somehow con the world into paying money to read it...

Re: Marry, Date or Dump?

I like this game; it is often played with my friends. Sometimes with animals, which is weird. Ahem. Bret, Jemaine and Murray Marry: Murray - I need more graphs in my life. Plus "Marry" only needs a U to become Murray. Er, if you rearrange the letters as well. Date: Jemaine - I'm a J-dogg t...

Re: April 11 Fox Theater Atlanta

Yeah, thanks for the write up! Shame about the drunken people spoiling it. I've often noticed those kind of *rude term removed* at gigs; people who are more interested in drinking and talking to each other than the actual show. Makes you wonder why they bothered turning up. Oh well, their loss for n...

Re: April 8 - Orlando, Florida

That reminded me of something funny that happened right after the concert started. Someone yelled from the audience "Band Meeting.....Jemaine??" and Jemaine caught on immediately and called out 'present'. Then he said "Bret?" and of course Bret called out that he was 'present'. ...

Re: April 7- Coral Gables, FL

Ooh yes I would like some kind of merchandise from a concert! You have no idea how much I'd appreciate that, thanks so much Turnip! I'm willing to pay whatever but if anyone has any idea of roughly what the merchandise costs I'd be very grateful. When are you going to see them? I'll have to decide ...

Re: Conchords not grounded yet- Plans for 3rd series and UK tour

*Crosses all fingers and toes for UK tour*

*forgets to uncross and hurts toes when getting up for a drink*

Um, yis. Smaller venues would definitely be better. I shall be down to London, or indeed anywhere that the boys decide to bestow their majestic presence upon :)

Hehe. That would have made either Hulk film much better.

BBC Four is generally pretty good, I think. They've given Charlie Brooker another show anyway :D

Re: Season 2 in UK for Spring - we kinda knew anyway but...

I don't know if anyone here listens to the Adam & Joe radio show on BBC 6, but Adam is a fan of the Conchords and occasionally references them. On last weeks show a guy from the BBC emailed in to say he was involved in currently "preparing" the show to be shown on the BBC. I thought th...

Hurt Feelings 5. Sugar Lumps 6. Epileptic Dogs 7. Friends 8. We're both in Love with a Sexy Lady 9. Freekie 1...

What I really liked about that poster was that the central bit of it was a picture of a roundabout (as far as I could tell!)...exciting stuff indeed! :D
