Wasn't quite sure where to put this as it's a short 12 minute film....but I guarantee it'll make you smile. I even got teary...damned hormones being crazy....

Signs, directed by Patrick Hughes, was a winner at Cannes in 2009.

It's not a film as much as films--I rented a collection of short stop-motion animations by the Brothers Quay.
Creepy, cryptic, and altogether fascinating.

If you don't know the answer, change the question.

Hey Vai! Good to hear from you. That's such a well-done stop-action film! The process has always fascinated me.
Your description is spot on, Vai.

Ha this is great...I saw Shrek in 3D yesterday with a little 9 year old kid. It was one of the best days I've had in many weeks. We laughed so hard and just enjoyed the movie so much. I recommend it highly.
The 3D was so good, not like the over lay of 3D like Clash of the Titans, which in my opinion sucked.

Yeah, Shrek, good times

I saw Robin Hood, against my will. It wasnt too bad. Im a jaded movie goer though. I rolled my eyes whenever they cued the cheesetastic music and the longing stares between the 2 main characters...

If you like Russell Crowe I suppose you will like it a good deal. My MIL did.

OK, I tried to watch Crazy Heart and Jeff Bridges is AMAZING so far. But I just had to get up and go to bed. It's too hard to watch. Maybe that means it's a really good movie. But at this point I'm so fried on the music business life that I just can't do it.

I watched a kiwi movie called Black Sheep the other day....it was a horror movie (I actually meant to tape Black Sheep with David Spade and Chris Farley, but the DVR got the 2 movies mixed up)

I laughed hysterically all the way through....Its billed as a horror movie, but really its more funny than anything else (although Im not sure it was meant to be :worry: ) ....it had genetically mutated, killer, carnivorous sheep......

Good Times!

YES, yes yes!!! I caught it as well! Gore plus sheep - unbelievable! (especially when he tried to cross the field pretending to be a sheep! :roll2: )
I stayed tuned because it was sooo bad. The squishy, gurgly, sound effects were great! :rolls:

That if you didn't know already, is exactly the type of movie Peter Jackson used to make before he actually got a budget and made Lord of the Rings. If you enjoy that kind of thing you should def check out PJ's early work - notably 'Brain Dead' - though I think it's called 'Dead Alive' in the States. Look out for the custard scene, *urp!* It's a highly unusual experience to want to laugh heartily and throw up at the same time!

(PS. Black Sheep was definitely meant to be a horror/comedy!)
