So I sit in total awe

Postby Sherry » Fri Mar 20, 2009 8:48 pm

If awe is the right word here. Maybe total dumbfoundedness. Speechless. Shock.

Yeah,

Twitter sometimes throws up (pardon the pun as you'll see later  ) so great nibbles now and again. And today, this site wins it hands down. Or should that be head down. In a toilet :roll2:

The aim of this site is for people to send in pics. Of food. That they or others have eaten. Or attempted to eat. Or failed to eat. Its all there.

I am    There are people out there who really eat this stuff? Apparently. Served on plates at home and out in diners and other eating establishments. I can't use the term 'restaurant' as I don't think any decent one would serve up anything in these pics

OK so a burger and fries with a large coke sometimes. A few cakes or biscuits. Maybe some choccy after that. But these are beyond epic and into realms of legend

So yeah, go ewwwwww till your stomach can't take anymore

I'm hardcore me. I'm on page gazillion and one and still going. No sign of me caving yet. I've got to get me some more meal ideas in

For sheer class I'd go with the Bacon Cheese Pizza Burger, followed by a Deep Fried Peanut Butter-Covered Brownie Wrapped In Cookie Dough for dessert. Drinks wise it'd have to be a McNuggetini.

But the breakfast burrito looks yummy also.

And ooooo Deep Fried Coca-Cola. Must have me some of that :drinkers:

/me has a theory that everything would seem to taste better with bacon. And I have to say, looking at the pics, she is being proved right. I mean, even this is on there

So what's on your menu eh?

Oh! You should have seen Jon Stewart eat some Baconnaise on The Daily Show a few weeks ago! I thought the poor man was going to throw up! I almost threw up, just watching him.

 Yay! I love talking about gross food. We had a lovely conversation about it a few months ago on the OT Blather thread. In fact I remarked on the ingredient of one delicious drink being Extract of Sherry. I requested an explanation from you and I don't think I ever got one.

Off to check out the bad food.

Nothing goes better with bacon than ...
MORE Bacon

Even goes with paper cuts.

Ewwwwww.....the closest thing I've done is put mac and cheese on a hot dog, just not in the quantity shown there!

ufotofu- thanks for that! I need to start getting Archie McFee again, they have the coolest things.

I put tuna fish and peas in my macaroni and cheese.

That's about as daring as I get.

Other than putting ketchup on almost all meats

i eat frito corn chips dipped in twinkies....not kidding.

edit: i see absolutely nothing wrong with the
deep fried peanut butter covered brownie wrapped in cookie dough.

edit 2.0: my mom once melted vanilla ice cream so my daughter
could have "milk" for her cereal. seems gramma had no milk on
hand and this was the next best alternative. imagine that,
cereal with melted ice cream for milk....i'm surprised she didn't top
it with sprinkles and syrup.

Though just for the sake of accuracy and full disgust, he put into his mouth baconaise on a blueberry pancake corndog(bolds here emphasizing how dod dernedly gross these "food" products are, not a stern correction of the ever-lovely mockingbird).

Oh, that site is disgusting but so funny. I can feel my arteries clogging just looking at that stuff.

But I'm ashamed to say that I would be all over the deep-fried pizza.

The meat cake was SO WRONG. I actually thought it was a carrot cake at first, I was like, "What's so weird about carrot cake?" OMG, it's a three layer meat cake with mashed potato frosting and ketchup icing! *shudder*

Oh man! I came across this blog a few months ago and check it out every once in a while. I think my favourite is the "meat ship"... that is dedication.

Another blog that love and visit often (especially if I need a good laugh) is the Sexy People Blog http://www.sexypeople-blog.com/ I'm going to have to dig out some of my old portraits and submit them... the 80s were scary, man!

I have absolutely no issue with the meat cake. I'm also up for tuna and peas in mac and cheese. Breakfast burritos were a common breakfast for me in NY. The Dutch bruine bonen (brown beans with apple sauce, bacon, baked apples, pearl onions, gherkins, etc.) is one of my new favorite dishes!

So far, most of the things on that site don't look tooooo bad, outside of sheer volume of food. Although the sandwich cake (sandwich spreads and bread covered by strawberry cream cheese) sounded pretty vile.
