I was sent this link by a friend who I saw this cartoon with when we were young and susceptible to catch phrases, lol. There were a few lines from it that we used to say to each other all the time and it never failed to crack us up. See if you can name them! ;) Also, I noticed while watching the credits at the end that the executive producer's name is Michael Scott. I can totally picture Michael Scott as the executive producer of this cartoon, if fictional characters can in fact be executive producers.

Good one, mock. :roll2:

Hmmm, catch phrase..."why don't you join a shakey rocky roll band?"

So. strange.

:hrm: I'll go with... "Well, blow my lips off." or, "OK teens, begin to saw." :dunno: When you reveal your oft used phrases from that cartoon, I really want you to give some examples of when you used them.

:roll2: No, but that's a good one. It was "Stop sawing the table! -I'm not!!" And, "It's always, shaking your eyes over here, shaking your eyes over there..!!" accompanied by the appropriate arm flailings, lol. You'd be surprised how often the opportunity to say one of those things pops up. I hear about/witness people's petty quarrels all the time, lol. Back then it was usually some fight between my friend's highly dysfunctional roomates. One of us would say the first line and then the other would say the second line and we'd be giggling away and neither of them would notice, lol. But we also had some friends who didn't have a bromance so much as... what would you call two guys who behave like an old married couple? :hrm: Anyway that's what they were like so we had ample opportunity to use the lines around them, too.

Wow, I've never seen that show before. It was actually quite creepy at the end...I was kind of obsessed with the threat of nuclear war for a time and seeing that as a kid would have effed me up!

Yes, I want to hear the catch-phrases you used...

Laura - see above post. ;)

It was so funny and timely today - my boss brought his dog into the store covered in sawdust. He said he'd "been sawing something" and she was lying under the table and that was how she got covered with sawdust, lol. If one of you guys had been there I would have looked at you and said, "Stop sawing the table!!" So you see it has many applications in my daily life, lol.

Heres an article about the Church of Scientology spying on Matt Stone and Trey Parker, the creators of South Park and Book Of Mormon:
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/10/2 ... ostpopular

Near the bottom, and here's where more of the giggle fits come in, click on the "click here to view the slide show of 10 etc, etc" and it'll take you to a page with snippets of South Park episodes that skewered just about every religion. They're only 1-2 minutes long apiece, and once you rate one, the next one appears. It's a funny trip down Memory Lane if you enjoy South Park.

This girl did stand-up at Second City Hollywood the other night. She's awesome! Her impersonations are spot on and I think she'd be great on SNL.

There are few things I love more than skewering religion. I'm so there.

SW, the Mormon one has the origin of the show, Book Of Mormon. My friend Scott said they used to have a number that had the whole Joseph Smith Dum Dum Dum history of the religion, but it was cut. Wish I could have seen it.

When is someone going to write a show revolving around the Kardashians? They could call it Special K. :rolls:
Or Bruce Jenner and the whole family could star in Fiddler On The Roof.....:roll2: Okay, I'm leaving. :snakeman:

I thought I'd pass on some great news. Gigi, the web series that my daughter Amy's boyfriend Kevin wrote and acted in along with Josh Gad and their comedy troupe, The Lost Nomads, has been shown in two film festivals - LA and San Francisco, and it won the prize for Best Web Series in both festivals! :woohoo:
Amy was in several episodes as well, and she went to the Beverly Hills event which was quite exciting.
I'm so proud! :D

They'll be filming a second season of Gigi in March, once Josh has left Book Of Mormon and returned to LA.
There's a campaign on Facebook to get him to host SNL. That would be neat!

I only know Josh Gad from Book of Mormon & I was impressed. I think he'd be great on SNL, lord knows they need some help, this season has been awful thus far.

I loved the Kardashian wedding takeoff, and Bill Hader and Andy Samberg still make me laugh, but I know what you mean, SW.
