My car has electronic windows in the front but manual wind down things at the back...this should come in handy if I ever drive off into a river!

I think the trick is opening your windows a bit to let water in and equalize pressure on either side of the door...Hopefully, you'll never need this info!

Yeah, that sounds about right. Hehe, I hope so too, but you never know... :worry:

We need to get one of these..... http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000BN ... B000BN3A4Y

I'm with you. As far back as I can remember, I've had a fear of our car going into the water. If we were near water, I was scared.....still am but not as bad.

Laura, that was so informative! Thank you so much. I am in awe of the LifeHammer.

The clips really scare me though. But I guess as long as you have the LifeHammer or a center punch of some description, everything should be okay. I still worry about the scenario with passengers and getting everybody out quickly (especially if littlelies are on board).

But I suppose I shouldn't worry, the chances are so slim.

I didn't mean excited...like sexually excited...I just meant a bit of adrenaline!
