Split the topic that came after Emafer's last post above. It was interesting and I thought deserved its own thread.

You can find it HERE

Discuss it there also :)

Carry on with your blather otherwise.

Thanks :D

2 years?!

I went a year after the boy was born. I didn't have time to care what my hair looked like  Just tied it up the whole time. Then when he was around one I decided I had to get a haircut again. I realised how much I love my hair and having it styled and how I missed it.

Kudos for lasting 2 years, intentionally or not  :prayer:

I rarely get my hair cut. Once and a while I'll hack some off with my dog grooming shears, but for the most part it's a luxury I just can't swing. Last time I got it done was right before seeing fotc in Atlanta. I love getting my hair washed though, something very soothing, nurturing and childlike about it.

My hair is quite unruly and I usually keep it kind of short so I have to get it cut every 3 months or so. It grows crazy fast. Luckily I'm really good at trimming my own bangs because I have to do that about every 2 to 3 weeks.

My hair is so prone to damage and split ends that it looks shaggy and gross if I don't cut it every 2 months or so. I shouldn't color it just for that reason, but my natural color is such a yucky one otherwise. It's bad when even the stylist says to you, "Your natural color is #7 Ash Blonde. That's really not much of a color." She followed that up by saying it was her natural color too, so it isn't as bad as it sounds!
