Aw, bummer.

In relation to the chick who kicked the sheep and was arrested:

"I don't think that the NYPD gets a lot of calls about attacks on sheep, and so we're pleased at how quickly they responded,"

The article makes me laugh. It's funny that she kicked the sheep and it's sad too, poor little guy, all gauzed and gorilla glued up. I wanted to hug one. My friend is going there today to get photos, I want to see her ride one.

What the...? Why would someone do that? Especially another artist? I loved the sheep artist's reaction to it, he was very philosophical. :thumb:

At first I thought you guys were talking about real sheep, and I was confused about fixing it with gorilla glue, lol. I hope they don't create some weird genetic hybrid by using gorilla glue on a sheep. ;)

So, I'm at work cataloging books, and I have here a geography schoolbook from 1824. In it is a chapter on the "Races of Men", which is vaguely (and sometimes overtly) racist, as anthropological descriptions back then tended to be. Anyway they are fairly straightforward in their not very flattering descriptions of the non-white races, until they get to the Malay race, of which Maoris are considered to be a part of, and they describe them thusly:

They are of a pleasing nut-brown color, with black eyes and black, curled hair, which is soft and abundant.

 He didn't mention anything about sensuously curving lips though. ;)

:rolls: Jemaine isn't exactly nut brown colored (though you could say that Taika is - mmmmm) but I think he browns up in the sun like a cookie in the oven.

Hee - I'd say "pleasing nut-brown color" is very close to "brown and yummy". :D

LMAO: "a pleasing nut-brown color." But his hair is indeed soft and abundant. Being that Jemaine's Maori background is common knowledge, it makes me wonder what the other half of him is. Those gorgeous green/hazel eyes have to come from somewhere...

But back to the hair. All of our FOTC guys have amazingly thick, shiny hair - especially Jemaine and Rhys.

There's something about the way they styled Rhys' hair when he played Murray... it just reminds me of those old Breck ads from the 70s:
When we first met, you tried to have me deported because you thought I was Australian.
.....
That was a misunderstanding - you were wearing a vest top.

I think Murray would be extremely flattered to be compared to a Breck girl.

Ahhhh.... my favorite beer, and my favorite Kiwi. :drinkers: :thumb:

He does say he's of part-European descent.... :P

For a tiny moment, mock, you fooled me into thinking you'd found a beer actually named Jemaine Clement. Shame on me, lol...but good on ya! That's great.

Is it wrong that I want to drink that nut-brown ale and see how pleased I'll be?? :worry:

Ha! I was going to change that but then I got lazy. Thank you for noticing it, lol. :P At least he's not on a Foster's. ;)

I did see that. 8) Have you figured out a song on it yet? I just played Blister in the Sun, very poorly, lol.
