Roger Ebert

Damn, how I hate cancer. But Roger Ebert says "eff you" to it, and I'd like to pat him on the back. What an awful battle he's had to fight....I hope he's won.
I mostly agree with his Oscar picks....except for Best Picture...but only because I haven't seen Hurt Locker yet...

I think it's cool that they're working on a voice-generator that would be his own voice taken from all the hours and hours of it there is recorded. 8) ... r-me--1029

My grandfather had to have parts of his jaw and neck and throat removed also. I think that it's kind of awesome that there is so much archived footage of his voice that they can create a voice generator of his OWN voice. That's rad.

You know, Oprah hit that....jus' sayin'......... hahahahahahahaha

Wow, this is my first time seeing what he's looked like after cancer, I had no idea. I'm sure that's a tough thing to go through, I admire his tenacity.

I was so sad when Gene Siskel died from cancer, and now Roger is waging such a brave battle. It must have been so tough for him to take that first look in the mirror after all the surgery was done. Hopefully we'll have his "voice" with us for a long time
