Oh, it was wonderful, delirium! I cried a couple of times....bring a tissue. :) The music threatened to make me tear up last night, I got up and got some water, lol!

I was so glad that the music from UP won. I think the best moments from that movie were when just the music was playing and the characters were saying nothing at all.

I think it was the winner for Best Original Score (it might have been Up, I don't remember) who, during his acceptance speech, spoke about how his family had always supported his forays into filmmaking and his desire to work in films. They had never discouraged him to give it up in hopes for him finding more stable work. He then said to the kids watching that if they had a dream of making a living in films, that it was worth it and to not give up. I thought it was very nice coming from someone who had probably done his fair share of struggling, but eventually made it in the business.

That was Michael Giacchino who won for Up. I liked his speech too. I think he also does the music for LOST.

I loved UP. I want that on DVD...and I dont get dvds of animated movies...

"I do not like the cone of shame"

edit: my review of UP---->I thought it was a great balance of melancholy and funny....It made me cry, then laugh through my tears, all with a very original and relatable story despite its sometimes crazy plot points...Im tired of all the same old cliched stories with played out dialogue (Im talking about YOU AVATAR! :x )

Wow, I wasn't expecting to need tissues for UP. I will keep that in mind when I'm able to get it. :D

"Hey Ya'll, I'm destroying your city!" And the Bret and Jemaine angels looked on in approval.

It is unbelievably moving, and the first part definitely speaks to my life experience. My husband and I were sniffling during the first part. But it's also incredibly silly and fun, and all the dogs are great!
