Tonight I looked out my window to see the half moon shining on the snow, turning it a luminescent blue. *dies happy*
4 out of 3 people have difficulty with fractions.

Walking home from work when it is snowing lightly. No cars going by. Just silence, only broken by the crinch crunch of my boots on the snow.

Since most of us in the Northern Hemisphere are encased in snow at the moment... I offer this:

The most amazing thing about snow is it's affect on sound. You can live on the busiest street in the busiest city, and when it snows, suddenly everthing is encased in silence. The only sound you hear, as Andria so estutely said, all you can hear is the crunch, crunch of your own footsteps. Snow has the capacity to make anything seem intimate. Lovely.
