A friend of mine gave me her recipe today, so I made up a batch. Yum!

Thanks, it’s been a while since Lillie’s (my cat) been gone and I think that I’m resigned to the fact that she has no plans on coming back. I’m going to the pound Sunday to get a new one. And, as much as I’m tempted to, I will not call it “Jemaine”

I’ve posted a few pics of Lillie in the pets thread.

Oh, I'm so sorry she's been gone for so long. Hopefully, she just somehow ended up with another family who will love her to pieces.

wow, indigo, you are fast. And yes, black cats rule! But I'm not getting another one anytime soon. He or she will just remind me of Lillie.

Oh, I can understand that.

Both of my kitties are black cats and I love them so much. I would be heartbroken if anything happened to either of them, particularly my little Lunabel, who was my first cat and reminds me of your Lillie.

Look at that. Another TWoPper. I accidentally got on Miss Alli's bad side and couldn't post for about a year. I think I can now, but can't be bothered. I don't have the patience to keep up with everything.

Amaria, I thought I was the only one who couldn't paint without a show on the TV. It's the only way I can get my mind out of the way. If I am thinking about the painting when I do it, it sucks. I have to be occupied to let the images create themselves.

Thanks for sharing. :D 8)

Jones: Well, I definitely can't keep up with the boards of the shows still on air that I watch (ie Veronica Mars) so I just tend to stick around for recaps and the PHed boards. Firefly recently got it's board back, and it goes at a nice slow pace so I tend to stay there.

And TWoP mods have very mercurial moods, don't they? I swear, I got warnings for the most ridiculous things.

Deirdre: No, you're not the only one! Except I don't do it for the same reasons. I'm usually alone when I paint, and my mind tends to be really used to multi-tasking, so having something on does two things a) creates the illusion of company and b) gives my ear something else to listen to while I concentrate. Also, it's just nice turning around during breaks to find Mr. Firth on the screen. ;) But I can't do free-flow paintings and let things loose, I'm actually quite anal -- I outline and plan things out a million times before I put it on the final paper/canvas.
