The new season just came out if you want to Netflix it. It was a short one. This season was pretty great - the cameos and the new cast members really reinvigorated it.

I forgot to mention that I saw Aziz Ansari at The Largo on Monday. He was a guest on Doug Benson's show, The Benson Interruption. Other guests that night included Kevin Pollak, Dax Shepard, Sarah Silverman, T.J. Miller and two other guests (my mind is drawing a blank and I cannot remember their names). Each guest would come on and share a few funny stories for about 10-15 minutes while Benson reclined in his leather chair and would occasionally interrupt them. Hence the name, The Benson Interruption. Aziz was the last guest and I was watching him impatiently peer over the curtain several times while waiting for T.J. Miller to finish.

He seemed unprepared. Which was okay because the tone of that night was really informal. All the comedians were just guests so it's not like they had to prepare their full routine. It was basically just watching them onstage having a conversation with Benson and occasionally throwing a joke or two in there. Aziz talked about pissing off a lesbian chef and Thomas Keller. Actually, come to think of it most of Aziz's stories revolved around food and porn.

He's going to be back there on Dec. 5. I might check it out because I haven't seen his own show yet and because I saw this really awesome FOTC t-shirt for sale in the gift/snack area.

 I have a couple of friends who love him too so I'll be going with them on the 27th Feb and of course there'll be The Phoenix Foundation's gig the night before! What a fun weekend! :supz: As long as you're not jetting off before then, you should definitely come along to Aziz's show if you can. :D
