Nancy, you've got an excellent recall of all the highlights on this episode!
This episode was so uncomfortably odd it made a perfect fit for Bret and Jemaine. Compared to her lackluster use last week, I think Mel worked perfectly into this episode. I didn't realize until the 2nd viewing that she was holding up the paper that said CRAZY outside the restaurant window. Loved the prime minister's use of a 1980's Motorola Brick phone.
I wonder next month when they are on tour, if there will be many drunken shout outs for Bret to sing "Oh yeah, dance happy, yeah." That bit was the most random scene, ever! Now I can't get that tune out of my head
