All I can say is... what the hell?

That was so, so, so weird.

I can't even....

I didn't laugh at all, I was so confused.
I mean, I'm sure after a few more viewings I'll laugh... but.

Wow.

Yeah... I think this might take a few more viewings... But I did chuckle a few times. Loved that Mel thought Jemaine was sick for dressing up as Art Garfunkel for his girlfriend ('She called it Art Garfunkeling.' That was my biggest laugh right there...) Leather pants: you definately can't go wrong there... :thumb: Random Japanese Karaoke Bret: interesting to say the least; I think he nailed it.

I was screaming with laughter the whole time. But last week's episode I felt similar to you ladyqueen- I ended up watching it once again and liking it a lot more.

But, hey, was Jemaine hotsy totsy in that leather suit? Mrrrrowr. And Bret even looked kind of crazy wild sixy, too. I had to rewind that part. I love how they used Cliff Richard's Devil Woman video from 1976 as kind of a crazy jumping off point.

Shouldn't Bret singing karaoke have been edited in earlier, when they were arguing about whether it was a gig or not? And the crazy Garfunkel lady was not demonic enough to deserve the title Demon Woman.

Yet, I laughed my ass off. Patton Oswald in Elton John drag, classic! Brian the dimwitted PM and his Matrix obsession. Bret as a bodyguard, with his shades and the bluetooth. Mel was brilliant, hiding under the table, sniffing Jemaine. And the leather getups in the Demon Woman video, mmmmmm.

I loved this episode, especially the Elton John/deja vu at the end. Plus, Mel, Dave (I loved him bonding with "Brian") and lots of Greg!

"Where have you been for three days?"
"On the date with that woman."

That's an awful lot of Garfunkeling.

Come here, Jemaine, you can lie on my bosom and I'll help you with your low self-esteem.

Yes, Doug in Bret drag, utterly distressing and hysterically funny! I'm glad Doug's finally figured out how to get a little affection from Mel.

Even with the reference to their "non-gig" at the karaoke bar, the video with Bret singing in Korean still seemed a bit bizarre. It left me scratching my head but I was laughing because it was so ridiculous. :roll2:

Bret's video is not nearly as crazy as this : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zY1dskM4Ojo

Yeah, there were a load things that I loved, but all of it together was just odd.

Mel under the table was hilarious, and her facial expressions in both scenes were classic.

Bret's hair looked weird in the Demon Woman video... Probably brushed it. Hm...yep.

I can't remember exactly what the poster said this week, but I think it was "New Zealand...just 18 hours from New York"

Oh, there were definite belly laughs from RI on this one:

As always, the poster - NZ, only 18 hours from New York

Oh my gosh, the guys attempting to be Simon and Garfunkel singing Scarborough Fair and nanana-ing the words :roll2:

The NZ government gun bit

Murray's phone call to the White House regarding the PM of New Zealand "it is a country!"

Jemaine on Scarborough Fair - a shopping list of herbs :rolls:

"Don't sing, don't talk"

Oh yes Jemaine in the leather

Demon Woman lyrics - "turn my bone into stone", and Bret's wicked high notes!

Mel's puke-like face when Jemaine confides in her about dressing up like Art G and having sex

I blinked for a second, and all of a sudden Bret was singing a karaoke song - huh???? :puzzled: What'd I miss??? I mean, it was well done, but why?

Bret volunteering six croutons

The real Art Garfunkel showing up - :thumb:

Doug(as Bret) and Mel!!! :roll2: :rolls:

Have to check it out again later - I wrote some things that don't make sense to me now :hrm:

I think the PM is Brian Sergent (aka Jarrod's dad in Eagle vs Shark)

All I can say is, coming from a fairly straight man, Bret was an upside-down bowl of hot molten sex during Demon Woman.

And the last joke was priceless.
