New Zealand Tourism Posters in Murray's Office

Postby Venus » Sun Mar 15, 2009 4:02 pm

I absolutely love these! Which ones have you spotted and/or are your faves?

The ones which stick out in my memory and are my favourites are:

"New Zealand....ROCKS!!!"
"Woolcome to New Zealand"
"New Zealand Why Not?"
"New Zealand: Ewe Should Come"
"New Zealand: Just Like Lord Of The Rings"
"New Zealand: Don't Expect Too Much, You'll Love It"
"New Zealand: COOOOOL!!!"
"New Zealand: Only 18 Hours From New York"
"New Zealand: Like Scotland, Only Further"

New Zealand..better than old Zealand
New Zealand...bring your mum
But if you did I'd hold you tight / Into every single night
And we'd fall asleep together / And we'd wake up in the sunlight
Well, maybe I'm a dreamer / But maybe one day you'll see / That dreams are...

I think this might be my very favourite. It's so fracking ridiculous, isn't it?

I also have major soft spot for the "Like Scotland, Only Further." one. I don't know why they make me laugh so much, but even thinking about them gives me fits of the giggles. They're ALL brilliant! I really wish we'd asked James who thought of these.

Murray's NZ posters are a neat little treat I look forward to each week; almost like a secret signal, with the guys saying, "hey, are you catching these?"

I can't believe I forgot to mention them in my questions to James.
Oh, fish-like Lady
Lady-like Fish
I don't think so Bro, she's a Lady, Lady, Lady, Lady
No, no, she's a fish that's just a little bit
La-dy-ish! Yeah!

I don't think any will top this one for me:

"New Zealand: Like Scotland, Only Further"
"Guys, women like three things: men in kilts, Southern Comfort, and Chris Isaak's Wicked Game."

Here are some that I've come up with myself...they're pretty lame, but hint hint: James Bobin if you ever need more and these appeal to you... ;)

"Come to New Zealand!...Please?"
"New Zealand: We have penguins!"
"New Zealand: We own Antarctica!*
*Part of Antarctica"
"New Zealand: We don't have dingos
Your babies are safe"
"New Zealand: Much more than sheep and rocks*
*Not really"
"New Zealand: Just like Australia but...not"
