Review of S2 episode one in Times newspaper (UK)

Postby trefusis » Sat May 16, 2009 9:43 am

I know that we in the UK have come a bit late to the party, but we're here now, eh?

Caitlin Moran has a review of the first episode in today's Times:

http://entertainment.timesonline.co.uk/tol/arts_and_entertainment/tv_and_radio/article6293004.ece

I won't post the text up here as she starts by recounting a lot of what happens in the episode, and some people may not have seen it yet (although I suppose the thread title here might be a bit of a clue)

Despite some mad mixed metaphors, my favourite bit is::

"They are a labour of love, made with wonky seams, and all the caramelised bits from the bottom of the roasting tray."

That's the conclusion that I've come to, but...
