Imagine my own surprise when I was scrolling through the tv guide listing and saw that it was indeed Flight of the Conchords on BBC4! It's kind of nice seeing it on tv again, particularly as I haven't rewatched the series that much, so it's feeling kind of new again.

I can't believe I missed it! And 'That Mitchell and Webb Look' was on before it, which I have liking for! I can't believe that I missed FotC for the National Film Awards. Stupid family.

SW, it was Episode 1- Sally.

No samosa action for me :bang:

Sorry you missed it, H. :(
Mark your calendar for next week. :thumb:
For those who did see it, was it shown like on HBO, with no commercial interruptions?

I came in toward the end, but I'm pretty sure there were no commercial interruptions, as half-hour shows here usually don't have them.

There never are any commercial interruptions on BBC4, thank goodness.
Other channels manage to butcher half hour shows with them though (yes you Paramount Comedy  , with Frasier, another DP household favourite)

Glad to hear they've not ruined it by breaking it up with pesky ads. I'm wondering if they'll replay the first season here, 12 weeks before the start of the second season, to generate interest ??

The BBC aren't allowed to show adverts as it's payed through the television liscense tax. Grr at Paramount, e4 and the others.

Well, we pay through the nose for HBO and other stations like it, so they attract us by showing uninterrupted programs and movies.

Shame that by paying about £40 a month for sky, they can't just get rid of the adverts. But there you go. :x
