What do NZ's like Bret & Jemaine think of sheep?

New to Flight of The Conchords? Or just new to the site and forums? Either way, please take a minute to stop by and say hello. Cheers!

What do NZ's like Bret & Jemaine think of sheep?

Postby LambEgirl » Mon Jul 30, 2007 2:05 pm

Hi everyone! Please see my profile statement ... I look forward to chatting here with all of you ... Hopefully my creative ideas for Bret and Jemaine storylines will get picked up and I will become a famous writer for FOTC ... or am I dreaming?
I am LambEgirl and I love sheep because they are woolly and wool is cool (or warm, depending on the season that you wear it). There are alot of sheep in New Zealand but I've never been there. They do terrible things to sheep in New Zealand -- they use sheep for food! That is very baaaad! Sheep should just be used for their wool and for maintaining the lawn. That's all.

LambEgirl, all I know is that my friend's dad (NZer) wrote a christmas newsletter. A few paragraphs were about the kids and the rest was about his sheep. The thing was 6 pages long.

when talking to non-new zealanders i think we care more about sheep.... coz other people seem to find it novel. but yeah.... I don't think about sheep very often lol. living in a city.

Welcome!
Ha, this reminds me of an interesting incident. I mentioned that Peter Jackson was from NZ one day while conversing with my older brother and he exclaimed rather excitedly, "There are more sheep than people in NZ!!!"
I highly doubt this...but the thought of such a thing made me nearly die of laughter.
Sheep are fun. Sheeple are also fun
