Hello from Toronto! Where it's almost spring!

Postby MissBoo » Wed Mar 11, 2009 2:43 am

Hello to all, I joined the forum a week or so ago and am just now getting around to introducing myself.

I'd seen clips of FoTC around YouTube over the last couple of years and thought they were really funny, but I saw the first show of the second season of the HBO show and pretty much was hooked from that moment on. I've now gone back and bought the 1st season on DVD so I've seen all of the episodes, and am trying to figure out a way to see them live when they're up this way (I missed getting tickets)

I joined the forum because sadly, I'm the only person I know who thinks they're fabulous and that the show is really funny, so I need to find a place where I could hang with others who do feel so.

Glad to be here, and looking forward to getting to know everyone.

Hello, friend! So glad to have another Torontonian on board! I call England home, but my family's from the Great White North, and I've spend many a happy year at U of T, so I know how wonderful those first few signs of spring are. Aaaaaaah, I love it when the ice melts, the dog turds thaw, and the old ladies lost in snow drifts all winter stagger out to stare confusedly at the daffodils. It's so great. :D

You're in great company here, Boo! Jump right in!

Toronto, what a lovely place, and so clean, and there are Canadians there, our cute cousins to the North, it doesn't get much better than that.

Welcome.

Oh & dog turds haven't yet thawed here but I look forward to when they do.
