Merchandise suggestions for the 2009 Tour

Postby Jilly » Sun Jan 25, 2009 7:21 pm

Assuming there will be a 2009 North American tour, what are your suggestions for must-sell/must-buy merchandise? There was a pretty nice selection at last year's tour, but surely they can do better!

My suggestions:

1) Clearly, they need to sell white t-shirts with "Flight of the Conchords" handwritten by Jemaine (as seen in season 2, ep 1).
2) Rethink the sizing on those t's! My "Redheads Not Warheads" shirt was waaaay too snug -- I'm afraid I just look too sexy and provocative in it.

What else?

I'd like maybe a cool track jacket. Those would be pretty stellar.

I seem to be forming some sort of psycho re-usable shopping bag fetish that nearly rivals my sick dog grooming shears fetish, so I'm going to say that. A re-usable bag would be neat-o!

Wigs? Conchord-brand wigs?

Do-It-Yourself mini looms (with assortment of fine New Zealand wool yarn)?

Spit-roasting kits?

I love me some tour merch. I'd buy it all.

Ha ha! I'd be interested to see the contents of that kit.

Basically I'd be happy with anything, as long as it came in a nice box.

I really like the track jacket suggestion though. I wear them all the time.

Yes! Sheeple! We want sheeple! Merchandising people look here at fans who want to buy sheeple!!!

I would really love sheeple.
In case there was any doubt.
I think they would be the most perfect FotC merchandise ever.
