Hate to be a bother, but could you send me a photo too when you''ve got the time? I'd love to see it! :)

I remember pix of poor Jem with his hands totally full after the LA show. It seems they get ALOT of gifts.

As to the question of whether or not they would accept gifts...

Most definitely yes. I was at a meet and greet last year, and saw both J and B very graciously accept gifts from fans. One fan in particular gave ... well... let's just say an odd gift, and Bret was very appreciative and handed it off to a roadie.

I myself am considering giving them a box of Krispie Kreme donuts, but that's probably because it's the middle of Passover and I just really want to buy myself a box of Krispie Kreme donuts.

May I see your block, too, ksp? I didn't make one. Just not artistic in the least. Not to mention arthritis. :(

What I wonder about giving gifts is this--they may have room on the bus for stuff, but what about on the flight back home?

I took a couple of things for them, but ended up not giving them anything. For one thing, it was too chaotic afterward. Plus, they had nobody to hand things off to-as they were out there by themselves. I suppose they could've given them to a security guard, or tried to make their way to the bus themselves, but they were pretty much surrounded by fans.
But I STILL think they would appreciate the thoughtfulness of anyone giving them something. (And I think Bret really would've liked to keep slut_angel's poster!) But he'll get it tomorrow night from her!

It might be a good idea to take whatever BEFORE the show. I believe Sherry suggested that--and I should have listened to her!!
At our show, we went in at 7 for the 8 start time, but it didn't get started until 8:25, so there was ample time to have gone to the stage door and given my gift to whomever answered. You may want to try that. Because as Sherry said, then you would have an "in" as in, "Did you get my whatever-it-is?" once you get to the meet and greet.

A day late and a dollar short, I now know what to do and when to do it! :) :yawinkle: So they really need to come back in a year or so before I forget it all!

Someone could always give them their gift already stashed in a handy light-weight man-bag. :) Even a cotton shopping bag.....

I'm guessing that they could ship home things they plan to keep, right? Probably cheaper.....

Do they have their own private plane or do they fly commercial? (I think I know the answer....)

I could sworn it was you, Sherry! :dunno: I'm thinking I read it in the thread about what type of gifts to give. I thought you mentioned guitar picks (as they are always losing theirs) and then suggested taking them before the show. No matter. I should have listened to whomever it was!

So, to whomever gave out that advice, next time I will heed it! :yawinkle:

I thought I saw Sherry mentioned that one also. But it could have been me. I've been known to snag them on occasion. :eyelashes:
