I really liked that Foux Du Fa Fa....ours was way slower and not as funny. And TMD was great too- I don't think I've ever seen Bret spin his robot-head around like that before, lol! :D

Thanks, Raven!

And now some 9pm teasers before I go to bed... But which ones?... Decisions, decisions... I'll try to not be too biased in posting, but well, the Bret ones just turned out soooo perfect.

There are 2 really crappy vids without sound. They both play for me.

Hope Amanda doesn't mind me posting a link to her photos but I do feel that these should be seen - particularly this one :P

I'm trying to think of some things to say that haven't already been said and it's proving a bit difficult but here goes some random thoughts. The highlights that come to mind are hearing Foux da fa fa live for the first time and the new improved versions of Freekie & Epileptic Dog. I also enjoyed Freebird. The rest is a bit hazy, will have to find audio to refresh my memory. Honestly I was expecting something big for the final shows, something to bring the house down, perhaps my expectations were too high coz IMHO the shows were...well... they certainly didn't have the energy or electric vibes I felt in NYC & Philly, they were, in fact, the tamest I saw this tour, a bit ho hum by comparison and I can't help but compare. People seeing them for the first time will have an entirely different impression I'm sure. Also the crowd was unusually subdued. Even when Jemaine mentioned that it was the last show of the tour there was really no reaction from the crowd which I found odd. Was fairly certain there would be an M&G (particularly given that I overheard a staff guy tell a fan that they would sign stuff outside after the show) so I was a bit stunned when the bus pulled away without the guys in it. Way to psych us out. It would be dishonest to say we weren't bummed but I was over it by the next day, which was the same day  but whatever.

All in all I had a blast in Cali and would do it again in a heartbeat. It was nice to meet Whambi and 4everconchordsfan after the show and Amanda and Sully were great travel buddies. It's such fun to be able to share your obsessions with likeminded friends....friends obsess together...la la la la

Omfg, thanks for the zoom photo inset of that shot. More! More!

SheWolf: Interesting that the finale disappointed a bit. One wonders why? Tour too long maybe...

Is that what the kids are calling it these days? "Well, I'm kinda bored so I guess I'll go back to my dorm room and beat on the old drums a while..." (The kids today are also bringing it up in casual conversation, apparently.)

Um... what is he doing in that top photo? :hrm:

Great pics all! Love them- even the blurry ones!

I appreciate your honesty on the shows and lack of m&g. I think I's have felt the same.

I would have laid money on them doing some sort of blow-out finale (like setting the omnichord on fire...a song they hadn't played on this tour- something!) and having the last meet and greet. I was very shocked....they'd done soo many already- what was 1 more on the last night?? :(

Ah well....we have many wonderful things to look back on. :)

I think someone posted here, or elsewhere, that the last SF concert was tame, too. That kinda planted the seed in me to not go. Not that I really cared for any reason other than taking good pics, but the no m&g would have been a big disappointment. Being the finale, and all.

And where's the mutha flippin' poster?!

Is the zoom photo inset not selfexplanatory enough? Bret had taken the camera of the girl sitting next to me and had taken pictures of his Sugalumps..and Jemaine came to our side of the stage, took the camera disabled the flash, put the camera under his pants and snapped a picture

That's pretty Rock&Roll, Jemaine  but he's a smart chap and turned off the flash leaving it all up to our imagination..the picture come out pitch black
