Here are the Conchords doing a public service ad for Love, Hope and Strength to encourage people to become registered bone marrow donors. (I'm on the registry.) :)

I have to admit I only knew of Iron and Wine from the song Flightless Bird, American Mouth on the Twilight soundtrack. I've been watching vids.....wow. He's awesome.

Here he is performing FBAM solo and it's just as amazing:

I like that last one, it's like Jemaine's saying "Uhhhh" in response to some senseless heckle

Awww, what an amazing show this must have been. I've just spent all afternoon watching the YouTube clips from this gig.

I love the and if you're trying to break my heart (1:12) in 'I'm not crying'. Jemaine singing this bit with a slightly shaky voice...just makes my heart go liquid.

Well that's fairly hilarious. Bret looks so clueless. I like "we've been asked by bone marrow..", "what else are you going to do?" "Use it up." :purple:

Call me clueless but bone marrow seems a strange thing to ask people to donate. I thought it was a pretty invasive process?

It is, but they just want you to get your blood tested and typed and go on the registry. They'll tell you about the procedure and the risks. I've been on for 20 yrs and have never matched anyone. :(

They called Tom up once and he went downtown for preliminary tests and then found that for whatever reason, they weren't a close enough match or something. Can't recall the reason.

It's surgical- they remove the marrow from your hip bone and I hear it's painful. But....to be able to save someone's life? That'd be pretty cool. :)

Hooray! I had a coke in the car, a bottle of water during the hike up from the parking lot, and a beer when were sitting down, and about 3/4 of the way through the show my bladder said "enough!" So I missed this while I was sprinting to the bathroom, but now I can enjoy it!

Thanks for posting the review from Westword, dandy lyons. It's cool that the reviewer and I had the same take that the music and playing really stood out at the show.

I keep hoping someone will upload Jenny.....
Here's Albi from about halfway through. You can see the rocks behind them really well here. This appears to be their last song of the night:
