I wish. My meet and greet was more Jem focused than Bret focused (of course it wasn't intentional!) but he DID put his arm around me, which was lovely  That and the fact that he had to get spelling clarification on my sister's name just to make sure he'd spell it right, and the way that he made sure every letter was correct was SO ADOREABLE

Nope. I think I know the pics you mean though - he was in a navy coat? They were from last year. I'm not sure if the person in question wants the pic posted so I've make it really small and cropped her out as much as possible.

My biggest regret at the Vegas show had nothing to do with the meet and greet after the show. It was what happened before the show.

I posted the full story back in the Vegas discussion but I'll briefly share what happened again here. Before the show, I was walking around the casino while waiting for other WTF! members to show up and I pulled my camera out to take pictures when all of a sudden, Jem and Nigel came walking past me. I froze. I wasn't expecting a chance to meet them. They walked down the hallway, into the entrance of The Joint so after quickly pulling myself together, I followed them into the venue. Nigel must have went inside because I only saw Jem standing near the merch table. A couple that spotted him must have had the same idea as me because they went inside and got to him first. They talked with him for a few minutes and took pictures while I tried to act as nonchalant as possible. So after the couple started to walk away, I thought "Here's my chance!" It was perfect. No other fans. The only other people in the lobby were guarding the merch table. But instead of approaching him, I just stood off to the side and watched him walk inside. I blew it! I don't know what the hell happened.

I had a second chance after the show though. I am lucky! But to screw up the first opportunity? Why?! Why?! Why?!

I don't remember what he was wearing, but it's definitely not this one. He doesn't look grossed out.

funny schipperke I know which pictures you're talking about. They weren't from this year's tour, must have been last year. I'm not sure I have them on my comp though.

And I love reading about every little detail of M&Gs! Keep 'em coming guys :D

Hehe you guys are giving me some great afternoon reading... plus I am looking at the screen so I look all busy :type:

Anywhoo add me to the list of hoping they tour again... I am hoping that one day they will come back here to P-turd (yeah I typed it :P ) and my sister will be able to go also. She will keep me from acting like the total 'tard I usually come off as

I really would like to get a good pic with them and give them a proper howdy... you know with actual words and maybe even a full sentence

I am just jealous of all y'all who go to see them in Vegas (... I really like Vegas :partyman: since it never really closes..)

Caption: Can we please take one more photo where I kiss you on the cheek and you pretend not to be so grossed out."
"Yes - so more layers?"

SheWolf: I love Jemaine's response to the kiss request. I love him. :roll2: And irrc Bret and Jemaine consider the "after gig kisses" as perks, and even call them "quite nice" on the Folk the World album. Jemaine says, "It's only polite to go along with it." :D Kissing, Part A. :smooch:
SheWolf wrote:Non ob – I can’t believe Jem said “how do you want me?” What a loaded question. I think I’d have had a saucy smirk on my face if he had asked me that. ...I wasn’t nervous in their presence. I’ve never met a person who elicited that response in me so I guess I should check to see if I have a pulse.

I wish I could be like that. Can I stand by you at the next Meet & Greet? I love your description of Jemaine's hug. I was a lurker on WTF back then and I think it was your hug that gave me the idea to go for it myself. Thanks for that, even though I chickened out.

Oh vmh: You were all alone? I wouldn't have been brave enough either.

DaMango: That's awesome that you gave Bret the lyrics. You wrote the song for him? That's cool. 8)

Songbird: Thank for the details. Were they both out at the same time? Did you have to choose? I was really glad Bret came out first, cuz I know I would have "chosen" Jemaine and missed out on all my (now) very precious Bret moments.

We WTFers need to stick together to ensure this never happens again. It won't. I can't!

You're right about that. We better go into intense training. SheWolf, you up for training a few of us?

It would be my privilege to be the wind beneath WTFers wings. With god as my witness no WTFer will ever be be remorseful after a meet and greet again!
