Postby Sherry » Sun Jun 28, 2009 9:56 am

Thanks to nzonscreen I rediscovered this vid clip for TPF song 40 Years

http://www.nzonscreen.com/title/40-years-2009

Taika managed to run the entire length of the song 8) I'd have collapsed by the first tim the chorus kicked in

Anyways, fun vid and great concept. And lovely views 8)

Pushing aside Taika (begrudgingly, I hasten to add. I am appreciating him in many new ways the more things I see), this video is meticulous! A lot of painstaking planning must have gone into it, and the end result is fab.

My face hurts from smiling for 4 minutes and 15 seconds. Thanks for that. More TPF I must own. New song? Old song? Anyone know what album it's on?

I love that the kid disses The Phoenix Foundation. Hee hee.

I'm aware he was the director, even though I pushed him aside. If it makes sense, I was praising the video itself rather than the director. Scratch that, I know it doesn't make sense.

Thumbs up, anyhow.

Aw, I really enjoyed that. It's amazing that they filmed the video in just one shot.

Yeah I saw this video a couple of months ago and I love it. The song's great too. I believe someone posted this video in the Media section of this forum and we were discussing it a bit but the actual topic was about some other video.
Just goes to show literally how fit Taika is as well as talented ;)

That was fun to watch. I think I actually came across that when I was googling the Phoenix foundation. I enjoy seeing what New Zealand looks like. The topography reminds me of the Bay Area in Northern California.

That video was the direct inspiration for the "low-budget video" thread in General.
It's pretty dang great.

Sadly it is not as easy as you would think to obtain it  if you are in the U.S. ; atleast that has been my experience. Maybe I am not looking in the right places

This is on my faves at the facetube... along with a few others of thiers. Anywhoo the beach they are on kinda reminds me of a few places found here on the upper left coast. Great now I just wanna go hang at the coast today instead of meeting with my trainer
...if anyone needs me I will be in my office doing madlibs...
