That's a great interview. :) I wanted to get tickets to Eddie's concert, Glen Hansard is on tour with him...but it's sold out. :|

Too bad. The closest he's playing to me is Chicago, which is really not very close at all.

Word has been spreading around that unfortunately Duke of Uke in London is facing closure. This article was published in The Independent recently about this matter. Such a shame. I haven't been able to visit the shop yet but I've heard of it through it's links with the London Uke Festival and I was looking at their collection online when I was looking for a uke. Rachel and I are hopefully going to be visiting the store sometime next week (anyone who's around is welcome to join us). I really hope things do work out for Duke in the end.

Oh Wow. The landlord is heartless. If they made the block trendy, good luck filling their shoes! I hope they can find a new spot with all they're looking for....sounds like a great shop!

I hope you take some pics while you and Rachel are there, Venus...thanks!

I enjoyed reading the interview with Eddie Vedder about his uke. How cute is this:

I learned so much about music by playing this little, miniature songwriting machine, especially about melody

Yeah, Eddie is cute. so are ukes. ukes are cool, and so are people who play them  and this includes WTFIUO
