I'm having a really strange reaction to all the new pics. I tend to get sad about the end of the show anyway, but seeing the photos feels very bittersweet to me. Maybe like finding pics of my grandma or an old love letter. My heart hurts just a little. I'm so mental.

That said.... Hot damn...how f-ing amazing does Bret look in that second pic. :snakeman: I just want to slowly savor them. Dang, do you think HBO has more? I wonder what caused this avalanche of before unseen photos and stills?

Thanks for posting all these!

You're not mental (in this aspect), because I feel exactly the same way. I'm more sad that the show is over now than I was last spring. I really miss it.... But now there's the European Tour to look forward to :D

Thank you for voicing this. I was quite surprised by the feeling. I mean I was drooling and squeeling one minute and then suddenly a melancholy gloom began to creep in. I'm almost sure that no one wants to hear me go on about it, but I still mourn over the loss of the pure hysterical joy that the HBO series brought to my everyday life.

The news vaccuum around Bret is a bit disheartening too. Jemaine's involvement in the Galaxia project brings to my mind a comment Mockingbird made when the HBO series was officially ended, voicing her fear that the guys might just vanish into obscurity happily playing and creating with all their talented crazy friends in NZ. :| I'm trying really hard to be altruistic and only wish for their happiness.... ( :tears: )

I hope they don't forget. They've begun to neglect the website. :| Really, I wonder how much notice we will get? Does anyone know the date they announced last years tour?

Oh sorry, I thought you knew

They won't forget the tour...I hope... :worry:

The guys being back in NZ sounds a bit worse for you, than it does for me. I'm guessing because they worked and lived in your country. You kind of had them right there. To me NZ and USA are both far away places, so it doesn't matter as much where they're at.

But in America, for good or bad, there are lots of people with cameras willing to share... NZ apparently not so much. :?

It's a small place. There aren't that many people to share. And from what I could tell, not so much into the entertainment and tv like we are. It's just a different vibe down there. Much more laid back than we are here.

Yeah, heh heh, we have camera's and we're not afraid to use them.....to capture practically EVERYTHING. :?

It's difficult. I'm glad that Bret is off doing whatever he is doing, and getting time w/fam etc. BUT this leaves me where? I mean, what about ME?!?!?!

This was posted on conchordsnet on Twitter. They asked for funny autographs from the guys. This is the best I've ever seen by Bret, lol, from Kristi Carlson. Be sure to read her description-

Don't you talk like that about yourself, Bret! :tsk: You (and the guitar) sounded terrific.
