A good friend of mine's mom's name is Vita. They are from Sicily and she said her father was expecting a boy to name Vito so they just changed the last letter when a she arrived.

Guess I was way off base with thinking Bret would have a boy named Albert

I remembered that someone had a dream a while ago that Bret had a daughter named Vivian. I went back and looked on the dream thread, and it was Carol who had that dream. Vivian and Vita are kinda similar... Way to go, Carol!

And Vivian (Latin origin) means "full of life" or "lively."

When Bret refers to Finnish death metal, I think he's talking about this band:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lordi

Ironically, the workshop where Lordi's scenery is created is in New Zealand.

Happy to hear that Bret is taking to fatherhood. Congrats to both him and Hannah on the little one. :)

I figured he was talking about Lordi...there's a dude from Finland on our board who's filled us in on them.....yikes! They look like extras in a horror film, lol!

Let's keep this thread to congratulations and commenting on the article.

As for the Finnish death metal, I prefer Sentenced to Lordi, and if we want to hash out the finer points of it (which I'm always up for) we can take it over to General.

God, I couldn't be more happy for them. I am simply a puddle of mush right now.

CONGRATULATIONS BRET AND HANNAH! And welcome to the world Vita! What a beautiful name :D

I actually just bought this paper, read the article and popped in here to see if it had been seen already, and of course it had
Wonderful to know her name, "Vita" is gorgeous :D
It's all about the music.
