'Figwit - The Documentary'

Postby djdeathskiss » Mon Dec 05, 2005 10:44 pm

Someone I know just went to the opening in NZ, and said it was fantastic. Especially the interviews with people like Peter Jackson, Orlando Bloom and Elijah Wood talking about 'Figwit Mania'.

Did anyone else go to this? Was Bret there? Anyone take photos? Get DNA samples?

Anyone?.......Anyone?

Please forgive me if this has been previously posted, but I was searching for the documentary information and came across this interview with Bret.

How very cute. I hope the guys can keep this sweetness that they both seem to have. America chews up and spits out their "stars." Do you think that Bret and Jemaine have a chance against "the machine?"

My hope is that if they start to feel they are being chewed they have the wits to say, "No, thanks." And hightail it to safer ground.

Figwit to be screened in Oz

Postby vjzoo » Wed Oct 24, 2007 2:02 pm

*bump*

For those of you in Australia, you might be interested to know that the long-overdue premiere of the Figwit doco is going to be held in Perth at the Byte Me! Festival on 3rd Dec 2007, with Q+A session by film-maker Stan Alley after the screening.

Those wearing LOTR costumes get the best seats :)

Hope to see some of you here...

PS - piece of FOTC fan-trivia.... Bret's fiancee was one of the three film-makers who created the Figwit doco.

That interview was so cute. I love how Bret got all flustered when they were questioning him.

I just read the link on that top. He seemed to get all flustered when they were asking him what he thought of them. Whether he expected them to be crazy fans or not.
