Definition of a successful jingle. I wonder just how hilarious they find it that life imitates art. Maybe he's not selling toothpaste for women exactly, but still.

Aw Bret, what's with the whole "Blazer Force" thing?!??! :puzzled: Plausible deniability? :P

My favorite song from the Target Holiday album is Jenny O.'s "Down for the Holidays". I want to try to make out the chords for the uke. 8)

It sounds like they used a different/more robot-y voice for the commercial and I'm 99.99% sure that's Bret's voice on the album version. So it makes sense that the commercial credits would list him as the composer and not artist.

I liked that one even less than Electronic Santa Claus. :yawinkle: My faves are the songs from Guster and Bishop Allen but the one that sticks in my head the most and best is Toy Jackpot. Is it time yet? Is it time I can't wait. :D

Oh! I've heard that one on the commercial and loved it! Everyone can relate to that feeling from childhood...how could you forget? :D

I love how it plays backwards so you end up with the kids going up the stairs and the boy peeking out.

I love the Tiny Tree ad for so many reasons. It's very NYC, I'm familiar with the Prince St subway station that is featured and I just think NYC is the most romantic place in the snow. Plus I once had a boyfriend who lived in basically a glorified cupboard downtown and I like how the girl in the commercial made her tiny apartment look so cute for Xmas - with purchases from Target of course - :D
