I wish. But no, Colorado. Not really Middle Earth, but it's nice as well.

Found this photo of the Hobbit cast on Facebook. Hello, Aidan Turner. And I wish Richard Armitage wasn't hiding in the back...

Great pic! Thanks! :) Here's a newer one.

My apologies to Stephen Hunter.

Colorado has some nice Middle Earth qualities. 8)

Anyone want to listen to the Lindir bit of LOTR's read aloud? Well, then don't push play. :nana: Don't worry the Lindir part is only a minute or two long. The host actually changed the book a bit to give Lindir his just deserts for his sauciness with Bilbo...

Mmmmm....Aragorn holding a knife to Lindir...whispering in his ear? I'd like to see that scene in the movie. :waggle:

Yeah, Bret doesn't seem to look to impressed in that photo. I'd be just a tad happier being in close proximity to Aidan Turner. ;)

Thanks for the video, nonch. I was also wondering how 'Lindir' was actually pronounced.

I like Aid..er, I mean the cast in this photo and a few more can be found here here.

Thank, Venus! I liked the panel pic. :D

  Just imagine what they could come up with for Lindir. I'm really looking forward to seeing him involved in a barbed, witty exchange (no matter how brief) in contrast to him often being cast as a bit of a dim bulb.

I love that Bret is already getting into character while everyone else is in their normal clothes. ;)

As much as I love Aidan Turner, I've got a bit of a crush on Martin Freeman as well. All these pics of him make me want to watch Sherlock again. I loved him as Watson.

I looked him up. His name is Rob Kazinsky. According to IMDb, he was on EastEnders which I have heard of but never seen and did a couple episodes of Brothers & Sisters, another show I don't watch.

Eastenders. I love it. :D

Faith, here ya go. He gives a set tour and you get a bit of the theme song at the end of the video. Sorry that I went off topic. Couldn't resist, it's Eastenders and Rob Kazinsky is worth it!

Yep when I first saw the picture of the cast, I thought, "Wait, isn't that the guy from EastEnders?" and it sure enough ended up being him! I don't watch EastEnders anymore but I'm pretty sure the character he played was a bit of a psycho.

Saw this posted on Facebook:

I am sad to report that Rob Kazinsky, who was cast in the role of Fili, is having to leave The Hobbit and return home, for personal reasons. Rob has been terrific to work with and his enthusiasm and infectious sense of humour will be missed by all of us. I should say that Rob's departure will not affect ongoing filming of The Hobbit, nor will it impact work done to date, as we had yet to film much of Fili's storyline. At the moment we are shooting scenes featuring Bilbo without the Dwarves, which will give us time to find a new Fili. I'll keep everyone posted with updates as they come.

Cheers,

Peter J
