I got sick of waiting for the book and bought the e-book :) It arrived Friday :/ Anywho though, I've read it.... and well.... now I REALLY can't wait for the movie!!! That new pic and other trailer were so perfectly timed for me. Just after finishing the book. My imagination is pretty good at creating movie scenes. however..... one thing my little brain MISSED but Laura didn't with her beautiful screen caps was that kiss!!! Now, my imagination did quite well with that, however, I didn't imagine Bret closing his eyes. If it's not bad enough that I melt with every new movie still or clip but eyes closed for a kiss? How dare he!!!!

Once I had recovered, it reminded me of a saying I had seen somewhere.... one of those things on walls people have these days. Something about "The best things in life are unseen, which is why we close our eyes when we laugh, kiss......... and I can't remember the rest of it". He closes his eyes when he laughs too.

 Thank you VERY much Mr. McKenzie. If I'm not feeling depressed enough about not being able to find someone to date, what hope do I EVER have of finding someone who comes even moderately close to measuring up to you???? I hate you, I love you, I do, I don't, I would, I wouldn't, I would.

Great screenscaps, Laura. Haha, Bret does look particular skinny in that drawing.
Glad you enjoyed reading the book, gibbs. Well there will be plenty more kissing scenes to look forward to in the movie. ;) I'll have to re-read the book before I hopefully watch the movie in September. :D

The Wall Street Journal:
The movie will premiere in New York and Los Angeles on Aug. 16, with a wide theatrical release slated for Sept. 13.

And there seems to be a release date for Australia:

'Austenland' will be released in Australia 28 November 2013

Bret's scheduled to be in the US a little earlier for an advanced screening & LA premiere of Austenland. :)

Here's a short clip with Bret: "Regency Era"

November the 28th???? OMG, OMG, OMG!!!! We are flying to Sydney to watch the Lion King musical in December 19th, so I can assume (hopefully) it will be at least showing SOMEWHERE in Sydney still. Do you think you can be arrested for leaving your children unattended in the foyer at the cinema while you drool, I mean watch a film???

Is it someone who's traveled there or someone who lives there? Is it a certain Bretero whom I haven't seen around much? :) Whoever it is, I hope they have a fabulous time and we get to hear about it. :D

It is a Bretero who hasn't been around much. I told her about a contest to win tickets to the premiere and she ended up winning. Bet she had an amazing time. :D
