AAAH! I'm so excited! I can't wait until it makes its way to Australia.

Did you catch Bret in this scene too? You're so right, we're going to be spoilt for choice for screencaps when the film's out on DVD. :D

HA- no, I missed him there! Good catch! :D

I keep thinking of the scene where he's holding her against the door with her legs around him.... (At least that's what I think I read, lol....)

Yes, I definitely remember that part! Let's hope they keep that in for the movie. ;)

Let us know what you think of the book once it's arrived and you've read it, gibbs.

I just happen to have the book with me at work.

Page 71-72 is pretty steamy, very swoonworthy, Martin/Bret fantasy.  (not that ive memorized the page number )

As she stood against the door, her hand on the doorknob, he leaned over to kiss her cheek. the salty smell of man deluged her, and she leaped to reach his lips, wrapping her legs around his middle, separated by oodles of skirt. How tall are you anyway? she asked. .....She held on to his neck and he held her against the door, kissing until they couldn't breathe. Making out with Martin was perhaps the most fun kissing she'd ever had.

Thanks for the reminder of the exact words, 4ever.

Just found out that Austenland is screening at the Traverse City Film Festival in MI on Sunday the 4th of August. Here are the details. Is this far from you, Laura?

It's about 4 hours from us...we'll be close in a week or 2 when we go to Michigan's Adventure up near Muskegon...that's about 3 hours away. Darn it. It's about 2 hrs for Kelly now but it would have been pretty close from her hometown.

Hope it plays more theaters- I have a feeling it's going to get good reviews and be a popular movie. :)

:prayer: :prayer: :prayer: :prayer: My book STILL hasn't arrived!!!! It has just passed the date to 'wait' according to the website, so I have to contact them :( Having read that now I really, REALLY want to read it!! :P

I read Two Little Boys before the movie and I think my imagination did pretty well.... except I didn't really imagine Hamish to be as scary as he was. Don't think I'll have the same issue imagining Bret being sixy :)

That's a shame Laura but it's still pretty likely that the film will eventually be screened somewhere near you. I read that Austenland will be in Canadian theatres in September. :)

Hope your book arrives soon if it hasn't already, gibbs. My book arrived today (already have a previous edition but had to buy it again with Bret on the cover ;))

Check out Austenland's new website. Love the pic of Bret :)
