Surely not The Quick and the Dead?!?!? :o

No, I don't know what movie it was but it couldn't have been TQATD because that came out the year I moved there and it was the next summer that I saw him. Besides if Leonardo DiCaprio had been anywhere in a 50 mile radius I would have known about it, lol. I was big into Leo back then. ;)

That's funny about Rosie, and your acting stint!!! :thumb: Did you ever see the film?

Nope, I don't even know if it ever came out. ;) And I can't find out because I don't remember the name of it. I'm useless. It was something really cheesy and it was just a working title anyway. You can tell I was real invested in it, lol. Basically I was hanging out in a coffee shop (like usual back then) and some guys came up to us and asked us if we wanted to be extras in a movie they were making. It turned out to be extremely boring, we spent most of the time waiting around for our scenes and they didn't even pay us, just gave us free lunch. So I gave up my dreams of Hollywood and decided to continue my career track in retail, lol.

Wow! Bret as a little kid! I'll have to watch this later but I can't wait. :thumb:

Filming is just not as glamorous as I imagine it, is it? I'm remembering Bret talking about speaking his lines to Liv Tyler, the ladder. Still it must be thrilling when the directors says, "Action" and you know that all the focus at that moment is on your role or scene, or in mock's case, your rack. Bret seems to have relished it from the start. He seems even younger in that play than he was on the cover of the magazine.

Hee! He's so squeaky! Now after reading Sherry's bit about leaning in close and speaking in each other's ear, I'm suddenly imagining that voice. :? Does wonders for cutting down on the envy!

(That Jemwit was a tiny bit disturbing, though...) :worry:

Heeehee I finally put together a quick (and equally disturbing) mash up of Breiran. I'm not sure it belongs here (or anywhere for that matter  ) but seeing as he is a faun or a satyr or some mythical creature that could have roamed Middle Earth... :dunno:

That must be it. Too pretty. I can't think of a photo with a facial expression that is ferocious and animalistic of Bret. :hrm:

Ha! I stumbled upon this and it made me laugh.

OK so I'm flipping through an Entertainment Weekly, killing some time...and I come across a blurb about a bit of drama in New Zealand over the filming of The Hobbit, the two-part prequel to Lord of the Rings. :D I guess the actors' union is threatening a boycott and the studio is entertaining offers from other countries in which to film. I hope they work it out, because that would be a shame. :hrmpf:

I'm not fluent in the ways of Middle-earth or anything, but don't Elves live forever? The cast has not been finalized...perhaps the Figwit fans need to make some noise? :eyelashes: Where is Sherry? Iris? Peter Jackson is directing...someone tell us what to do! :D

And Jemaine makes a fine hobbit, too! (where is that pic of him with the hairy toes?!?!?)
