I love the English accent on Albi too. I have a recording of one of the shows from the tour and Jemaine introduces Arj over the loud speaker in an English accent and draws out the name: Ahhhhhhhj Baaaaaaahhhhhkaaaaah.

and i love the end of the i'm not crying video on the show when bret just throws his hands up in the air and looks so spent, and by the end they're just whimpering, lol--i just love how they're not afraid to be so over the top silly... :D

and yes SB i love his albi voice too, it is amazing how his accent sounds so perfectly english! (tho i love his real accent more!)

okay how many times can i use the word love in reference to the conchords?? :D

It's okay - gushing about their talented voices is allowed!!!

4,782 ... I looked it up. After that, the use of the word becomes excessive.

That's right. I forgot about Inner City Pressure. I like Jemmy with the Brit accent. It was weird hearing him do the American accent in that black and white video clip. It didn't seem like the Jem I know and love. Or maybe I didn't like it because there is nothing exotic about an American accent. He's supposed to be playing an American in that Jared Hess movie right?

we were trying to figure out what kind of accent he'll have in that in another thread, nancy suggested maybe french cuz his character's last name is chevalier, but if not i'd say american which will be interesting to hear him with (what b/w clip do you mean?) but yep american accents are bo-ring! LOL (i guess cuz we're american, when i meet english guys they say they love our accents!)

i do dig him with the english accent tho... (but still love his own the best)

I thought I read somewhere that his character was American - can't remember the source though.

This one: "The bomb. Where's the bomb?"

I like it when he does his english accent, which is strange, as usually, when 'english' is done by other nationalities, it makes me cringe. In 'Inner City Pressure', both of their accents are perfect.

I agree. I find that pretty cringeworthy too. Speaking of that song, the off-hand delivery of 'So you think maybe you'll be a prostitute' gets me every time!
