Glad to hear Stand Up for Christchurch which took place recently at Lyric Theatre in London was a success. One of Jemaine's guitars was up for auction:

A benefit comedy gig at the Lyric Theatre featured Kiwis, Brits and Jemaine Clement's Y-fronts.
...Also in demand: a guitar used by Jemaine Clement in the Flight of the Conchords’ HBO special, which went for a princely £1350 in a silent auction. The extent to which the successful bidder was attracted by the cherry on top – that is, the Y-fronts stuffed into the sound hole – was not clear.

A guitar and Y-fronts. What more could you ask for? ;)

Oh damn. That's amazing! The actual guitar he used to perform the One Night Stand? :prayer: Yes, I'm curious how they got that guitar as well. Ha! Genius to add the skivvies. I'll bet it was the multi-colored three pack with white piping. Cool event. Jimmy Carr was even there! :D

thanks! lifesize jemiane is currently in my room, which(because of presents and stuff) is currently the scariest place ever for someone who doesn't know who FOTC are. funny thing is, the first thing i asked when they brought the kieran cake out was "what did the guy who had to make that cake say???"
LauraK wrote:Where'd they get the cutout?

weirdly enough, we kinda have a history 4 making cardboard cutouts... I make movies, and in this one movie theres a poor family in the 1800s and the oldest sister goes to college but the mom is going through denial so she talks to a cardboard cutout of the sister. that kinda became a running joke and we made cutouts of the entire cast 4 the next 2 movies in the series (their shorts). but...we're pretty good at making cardboard cutouts

Anyone know anything about this? Televised! :yay: Great H! Can you grab it? :D

Edit to add: I found a facebook page for the event. https://www.facebook.com/ChristchurchTelethon

A quote from the page, "The broadcast would also be live streamed globally..." :D
