A wee bit about Jemaine

AKA as HipHopapotamus, half of the Humourbeasts, Action Fighter, Dr Chevalier and Jarrod in Eagle vs Shark! Nuff said. You can write the rest!

A wee bit about Jemaine

3rd paragraph.

Finally, NZ gets some of their own guy.
Bret: Have been sheared.
Jemaine: Have been shorn.

So I guess we should assume this is indeed the final season of FOTC.

I dunno. I hope not. I think he could do both well enough. But now I know how NZ must feel when we get to see the HBO series and they don't (for awhile) - we probably aren't going to get to see this... :(

Looks that way. :( Glad to see he's going to be back in his hometown though, doing what he apparently enjoys so much. I just hope he doesn't forget about his fans in the rest of the world.

Maybe, maybe not. Maybe someone in the cast will buy a new cup and totally blow the budget.

I am going to be hopeful... I wouldn't be surprised if the sketches are already written and there's room for improv that they could bash out the series in a couple of months. Or less.

I hope that they have a good lead-in like "What Have You Done To My House?"

You don't think some kind soul will post an episode or two on YouTube? I bet they will... I depend heavily on YouTube for my Conchords fixes.

 On Air is probably contractually obligated to provide them all with new cups. They had to cut a few other shows to do it but it was worth it.

Great. So now we can expect to see the TLC version of "The Dog Show" any day now.

"Sponsored by Telephone! With Telephone, you make the call!"

The greatest parody of nationalized TV since the SCTV skit where they showed Canadian TV during a writer's strike...

I grew up just across Lake Superior from Thunder Bay, ON in Upper Michigan, watching loads of Canadian TV. They nailed it perfectly from the deadly dull current events game show "Headline Challenge" to the PSAs about "The Woodchuck". Truly great stuff, worth seeking out. I should take my own advice...

I'll see if I can get my friend to put it on her Netflix list.

Maybe they'll make a DVD of the new show and we can Netflix that, too! (OK, probably not, but I felt like I had to say something back on topic)

Good save!

I'd like to see the show - I would like to see Oscar Kightly in a comedic role - he was very funny when he was interviewing Jem for Radio New Zealand. And Taika of course.

and that one other guy...

I'm convinced that the UP of Michigan is just an extension of Canada.

The first time I crossed the Mackinac Bridge I thought I was in a different country. Everything looked different, people talked different. Was just weird.
