Of course, I take a lot of things J says with a pinch of salt. Sometimes its hard to know if he is on a wind up. But I think on that he was being honest.

I love that about Jemaine. It might even be what I love most about him. If I were in his position, I would delight in giving contradictory answers, just to keep people on their toes. :yawinkle:

In some ways, it must be a little tough being a non-drinking comedian, though. I imagine getting through a long night of wankers and hecklers is much easier if you've had a pint to smooth out the nerves. I know that there are few things less awesome than being the only completely sober one in a room. It makes the assholes unbearable. Jemaine must have the patience of a saint. :halo:

But I'm giggling away here, thinking about Jemaine's possible alternative life as a male model. Heeeeeeee! That is a wonderful mental image. He's got a wicked Blue Steel, doesn't he?

I love getting to know more about the boys in the earlier days through your experiences with the boys Sherry so thanks for sharing :)

Interesting to know that Jemaine doesn't drink. I can totally relate to situations when you're probably the only sober person in the room  but it must be much harder for him given his career.

Hee hee! I've been kinda giggling about that, myself. :D

That photo can't be from 2000-01, though. That would make him around 27 or 28 in that picture and I just don't think he's that old.

This thread is rapidly becoming the most randomly named thread on this forum. I think we should all post in Daffy Duck voices from now on, just to keep it on topic.

Really? I don't think he looks very young in it. Around 27 sounds about right to me.

I don't drink either, so that's kind of nice. I've never had trouble having fun, being a total idiot with my drunken idiot friends and not being drunk myself. It comes naturally with me, I guess, no alcohol needed.

When Bret drinks, does he have to go to the toilet a lot? Hee!

Speaking of this, not to get too OT (but since we've established Jemaine doesn't have a lisp, what topic is there to go back to?) - but last week my dad's best friend (who was the father of my 3 very best friends) passed away. Anyway, we all got together with some other friends of ours, Jim and Laurie. And all night Laurie was trying to get me drunk. I don't normally drink so I wasn't too keen anyway, but everyone was drinking and it IS what Kevin (the deceased) would have wanted - so I was working on a screwdriver. ANYWAY, right after I started drinking it I had to go to the bathroom and I thought of Bret! LOL.

Me neither. I have nothing against it but I make a rubbish drunk and don't really enjoy it. I much prefer to drive places and stay sober but people generally think I'm weird for this. It's good to hear other people are happy not drinking too.

Sorry, OT again but just wanted to share!

Whenever I see the title of this thread I think surely it must be a typo

Haha, true! I'm sure a whole thread could be dedicated to Jemaine's lips if there isn't one already!

And to contribute to the drinking conversation, I don't really drink either. I do have the occasional drink here and there but I've never been drunk before. Just a personal choice really :)

I've often thought Jemaine's lips should have their own forum, with subforums devoted to pouts, philtrums and overall plumpness. :D

To throw my two cents in on the drinking, I have a long and storied family history of alcoholism, and was tending in that direction myself, so I try to steer clear. These days I'm strictly LSD and heroin.
