Well that would be logical.

And it sounds like a woman's voice! :o

Taika makes a lovely lady. I think I had a haircut like Jemaine's back then. The same glasses, too, but smaller teeth.

This clip is addictive with Jemaine's laugh and Taika's wordless screaming. Oy, they are so much like teenyboppers. Go back 25 years (from 2001), put on some ugly green and purple plaid dresses on them, and that was my Australian fourth form or Year 9 class giggling over Skyhooks and the Sweet and Sherbet and Queen,...

That was the best part, that it sounded like a woman yelling that.

Taika makes a pretty good looking girl. Jemaine, however...

Haha, yes, Taika is definitely the more attractive lady of the two...

Say what, Mo did you grow up in Australia?

Isn't that a common cat call over there? I know when I see men in womens outfits I just can't help but yell out "Show us yer tits!"

Ah, so you're like 1/323 Australian Mo! :D

Just poppin' in to say J makes a very homely chick  He is going to need some help from RuPaul if he does that again.

I recently came across this page with pics. I don't think it's been posted yet. :)

The Untold Tales of Maui

Taki Rua Productions and Humourbeasts invite you to enter into a new kind of theatre experience. Join us as we bring the ancient legends of Maui-tikitiki-a Taranga into the modern age and tell them in a funny way.

Young Tama is a troubled teen. His Nanny a simple but wise woman, is given the task of imparting to her wayward grandson, the sacred knowledge and lessons of her forefathers through the tales of Maui, our most revered ancestor.

The stories take us on a journey into ancient Hawaiki, to a time when the sun raced across the sky like an impatient horse and you could catch fish the size of a small South Pacific nation. Centring around Maui, the tales follow him from birth to death, include all the famous myths and also one or two that have, up until now, never been heard.

At first, young Tama has no interest in these ancient myths, but through his Nanny’s incredible storytelling abilities, coupled with state of the art multi-media devices such as massive back-projections, puppetry and computer animated characters, the young fool is soon drawn in to the mysterious and fantastical world of Maui and his famous exploits.

 :prayer: :supz: Freaking awesome! Another great find, Venus!

Jemaine! First I giggled at the one where he has his glasses on... :purple: ...not very warrior-like. Then I was put in a lusting stupor by the parting of the grass skirt. What fine male specimens they are. :prayer: :prayer:

Has anyone seen this play? It sounds fascinating. Very different from the cross dressing/lewd Humourbeasts dancing clips we've seen.

I had the same reaction to the glasses. Jemaine cuts a fine figure in the one where he's doing his macho muscle man pose. I know I've said this a million times but I will always love how sexy he is when he makes fun of sexy. It's a rare gift. ;) Taika's tattoo is cool. I read somewhere that NZ is one of the most heavily tattooed nations in the world. Surprising that B & J don't have any, as far as I know - and after seeing DFS I feel fairly confident that J isn't hiding one anywhere, lol. I guess Bret might still have one someplace.

Surely someone must have videotaped this play, right? Don't you think J's or T's girlfriend or mom or someone would have done it? Don't actors sometimes record their performances so they can perfect it? This, and The Frogs, and ...So You're a Man... where are these things??

nonch - lol, we cross posted during your edit. ;)

Well I'll admit I just looked at the pictures the first time... ...and it took me a few minutes to recover the ability to form a coherent thought and actually read the accompanying text.
