I love the image of Matt doing Jemaine's laundry. :roll2: I'm picturing him wearing a red gingham scarf on his head and a clothesline running down the center of the tour bus, draped with 5 identical plaid shirts and the silver lame jumpsuit, all swinging back and forth as the bus careens down the highway...

But seriously, I think he chose that shirt because it has snaps down the front and was easy to get on and off in a hurry on stage. Maybe he couldn't find any other shirt he liked that had snaps. :dunno: Didn't he start off the tour with some stretchy baggy t-shirt and cardigan that he ripped off like he was the incredible hulk? Or did I just dream that?

Before the next tour we should find him some new 'easy access' clothing. You know, for quick changes on stage. :waggle:

I love the plaid snap-up western style shirt a lot. It fit him perfectly and is classic Jemaine. However, I never want to see him wear it again.

Oh yes...that salmon-colored rip-offable shirt with cardigan.

The plain white tee was nice but I'd have preferred it tighter and with a low vee-neck.
It was not bad though.....not at all.

You didn't dream it. He wore it in Amsterdam and, if I'm not mistaken, a couple other shows right after that and then he stopped.

Or was it just the same one over and over....his "work shirt," with the rest of his luggage full of after-party clothes.....

Yeah he seemed to have enough shirts for meet and greets/after parties.

But yes eorious you raise a good point about how easy that shirt was to take off and put on.

But he has so many snap up shirts. Why did he just wear that one?

Maybe he accidentally tore the cardigan t-shirt ensemble when he ripped it off with such fervor, and had to resort to a back up shirt?

BTW Red, your avatar, as always, is gorgeous. Just had to tell you that

I'd have gone on tour with them and been the seamstress.....that way he could have just ripped his shirts right off and I'd have happily sewed those buttons right back on. :halo:
After Matt finished washing them, of course.

Just read through this thread and love it :prayer:

I find popper shirts are easy to rip off but near impossible to get back on quickly.

We had a family dinner last night and hubby's 20-year-old niece was there. Hubby works at the university that niece is attending. We were talking about boys' current style and hubby was saying that the 'ironic t-shirt' is very in. Niece contested and said that "all the boys are wearing deep Vs". I had to snicker inside. Has he inspired a style among young men?

Meanwhile, is it just me or has he moved on from that look of late? :dunno:

He has moved on some, but I think he buys his deep v's where all the hip kids do - American Apparel!

The deep V was a trend among young hipster boys around SoCal before Jemaine was sportin' them. But Jemaine is the only one who could pull it off.

Hmm, I guess the styles take longer to make it up here in Canada. ;) Plus, it's gotta be hot to wear a deep V, otherwise the cold may do something funny to your nipples.
