I can totally see J wearing those Mock! I can even see him wearing those pants next tour SW! So what did he say? Did it make him laugh? We need to know these things!!!

I didn't need to see the nipples though. He should have worn pasties.

Was it Nancy who said he cheapened the act by dressing like that? That made me laugh really hard.

I can't believe we haven't had a Sartorial Savoir Faire thead before now. Here's a little sartorial review I like to call Ode To Old Gingham.

In 2007 this uber cool vintagey button up with groovy green piping had the perfect fit to flatter Jemaine's manly curvatures.

Image

By 2008 it had seen better days. Through either putting on weight in all the right places or shrinkage from the wash it fit more snugly across his heaving man bosoms, prompting Button Watch 2008 as a breathless nation braced for it to blow.

And when it did Jemaine was unashamed.

2009 saw a newer version of the shirt as the old one most surely is being used as a dust cloth. The new, longer, crispy version, while attractive, lacks the hipster cred of it's predecessor.

But that doesn't mean it's not hugworthy.

The End.

Here's a different gingham shirt. It's one of my favorite looks on him. I may be one of the few people here who actually likes those glasses.

 Oooh me! I like them too, V!

I personally wasn't around for Button Watch 2008 but I've felt it's effects many times. You're so funny, SW!

The new glasses took a while for me to adjust to. We're on good terms now. :D

vmh I like that shirt too. It took me awhile to notice that it doesn't button all the way up.

This is one of my favorite of his western shirts.

Yep... buttons. I have created this helpful diagram to illustrate the point.

I meant it doesn't have buttons along the length of it, just 2 at the top. Weird, but just enough room to fit his big head through I guess.

I think it's one of those shirts that actually hides the buttons with an extra layer of cloth over the button holes. In Mock's demo you can see two layers on the button hole side of the shirt...
