Pannenkoeken! Here's the menu of the pannenkoeken restaurant I go to here in Utrecht. I usually just go for the basic bacon and cheese one, and even though that's a savory pancake, I still put stroop (syrup) on it. It's the Dutch way. ;) That said, I don't think the stroop is quite as sweet as maple syrup. The restaurants have big jars of stroop with a honey wand that you use to drizzle the stroop onto the pancakes. There are also containers of powdered sugar on every table.

Bacon & cheese sounds good to me. I'm not too big on sweet pancakes/crepes and I can't really eat maple syrup without having some degree of sugar sickness which is why I buy flavored syrups like boysenberry or strawberry and use sparingly. Thanks for the menu. I saw the menu of the Pancake Bakery in Amsterdam as well and the prices seem a bit steep by U.S. standards.

Restaurants aren't cheap here. Even fast food is pricey, so keep that in mind.

Yeah I'm not a fan of what I'm seeing so far for these tour posters. Europeans have a weird idea of what "art" is :roll2:

Hey, the dude who designed that poster is American! I think that there are a few American artists who designed posters last year who are on board to design other gig posters for this year's tour as well (another American dude is set to design a Wembley Arena gig poster).

I'm sorry but the Amsterdam poster is the most awful thing I've seen of all the gig posters. I can't believe it's legit. It looks like a stoned 12 year did it.

:roll2: Poor guy. Each to their own I guess. :P

I knew his style seemed familiar. He designed this poster last year too: http://postercabaret.com/flightofthecon ... duval.aspx

It's not my favorite, but it's hardly the worst. Some of the others in the link that Venus provided look a lot worse to me. Will it be the same poster for both nights?

Not sure. Looking at last year's tour posters, each night had a different gig poster (sometimes with only slight differences). You can see the gallery of last year's tour posters here.

There are some good ones there. I didn't realize that last year's San Diego one was the same one being used to advertise this year's tour.
