Okay $340 plane tickets plus hotel plus $45 for a ticket to the show in Berkley. I don't think this is going to happen for me.

Oh well. Next time!

Hooray for everyone that does get to go!! :yay: I just looked at the Greek Theatre's site and it says the tickets are going to be general admission. So as long as you get there early enough then you can all be up front and center!

General admission? Not good considering I was probably going to have to fly in that day. Hmm...maybe if I overnighted it...also considering flying to LA to catch the Hollywood show too, but more research is needed.

Red, I think I am in the same boat. Except for me, it's more like $500!

Agh! I just don't think I can do it. :(

Especially if I want to get a dog and a fence this year. No, I can't swing it at all.

Nancy, we can have a virtual commiserating birthday party online!

Thank you all for your encouraging notes. :tears: I was thinking I'd double check the date and maybe call in sick, :lyre: but I really don't think it's going to happen. :tears:
V, sorry you had a bad experience at the Bowl - my daughter really likes the place. I've also heard there's not a bad seat. It sounds like you found it. :?

SW, I like your thinking - NYC, NYC, NYC... :cheer:

I'm surprised I didn't get a MySpaz message this time about the added shows, since I usually get one. :puzzled: Is it a Ticketron spectacular this time? :nails:

I thought I didn't get it either but then I always think that because it shows as Flight of the Conchords in my inbox and when I look quickly it looks like the ones I get from Flight of the Conchords message board which I don't check everyday.

Yes, mine also always come across as FoTC, but there's something in the link that indicates it's from MySpaz. Or maybe I just know it. :hrm:

But anyway, something deep inside me is telling me to get a ticket for LA, and I don't know why. I guess I could always give two tix to my daughter who lives there and who's also a fan...
:eyelashes:

I got my notice from the FoTC website itself from the automated mailing list.

Holy flippin' crap! It's really true! :supz: :partyman: Hooray for everyone who gets to go!

And boo hoo for everyone who doesn't. Like me, probably. :partyman: :goodman:

I can't believe tickets go on sale tomorrow! They are the kings of short notice. :? My dear hubby is encouraging me to go. Maybe I'll buy tickets just in case. The likelihood of me being able to go, though is so... unlikely. :( Do you all think maybe they might add some more US shows? Maybe? Ya think? Possibly?

Also my husband is worried about the possibility of me meeting up with people I only know on the internet. Because you're all actually male perverts who are trying to lure me to California so you can sell me into an international prostitution ring or something, lol. ;)

Oh I see what you're saying Nancy - no there is no link to the MySpace. BTW it's irking me that I made a spelling error in a comment I made there and you can't delete or edit and when I try to post again it says I'm flooding. Is LA paperless as well? If so, you won't be able to get a ticket and transfer it to your daughter or friend.

Lol! That's pretty much what my husband thought when I first met up with my internet friends, except that he added in bits about serial killers....

I hope you get to go, mock. I've been trying not to think too hard about them possibly turning it into a eUrSA tour and adding some cities....
i doubt that, though.

oh man, oh man, oh man, oh man, oh man!

I NEED to go to one of these shows in a serious way.

If I can get tix and decent airfare I am totally in for meeting up with many, any and all of y'all that will be there! :supz:
