This is a bad pic.....short of throwing blankets over the windows, I can't get rid of the glare. :) I still need to get a frame for the Melkweg paper-dolls poster.

Very nice. :)

I was toying with having the Vegas poster mounted but it scratches easily. I attempted to flatten it with a book but the edge of the book must have lightly scraped the poster & you can see a streak in the black part. Perhaps it's best to make sure this sucka is under glass.

We go another poster by the same guy, for LCD Soundsystem. It arrived in the mail yesterday too (I wonder if they got shipped at the same time SW :) ) I'm still amazed my Vegas poster made it home in such good condition. And it's completely flat now. Just have to figure out where to find a frame (I agree SW, it needs to be under some nice protective glass).

I like your set up Laura. That's pretty much what I had in mind. Where did you get your frames? And approximately how much did they cost, if you don't mind my asking?

Just unrolled my posters, hadn't been home yet to even look at them.

They are in great shape and with a little flattening, they are gonna be great additions to my wall.

Glad I got both Vegas and LA. Hey V, glad you got all the shows you saw, that makes it even more special. :)

I still have 5 posters rolled up in the tube. I know this was discussed to death last year but any advice on getting them framed/mounted/whatever would be helpful. I've never done this before but I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars getting this done.

Hi Ryche!

Hey V!! I just go to Michaels and get assistance, it is really reasonable and there are always 50% off coupons for framing department in Sundays papers.

Just hope there is a Michaels near ya now :|

Just edited to add: funny how us West Coast Girls are still online  :P

I'm going to go to Michael's too. If I can't find a frame that's roughly the poster size I'll just ask them to frame it. I've gotten to the point in life where I'm willing to pay people to do things I don't feel like doing. Haha. Lame.

FYI AC Moore has a 60% of most frames sale going on now. I just picked one up.

I'm cheap, Suzy. WalMart poster frames, about $11 for the Lego and a bit more for last year's. :) They do the job nicely. The Lego was a perfect fit...I think I'll get another in that size and put last year's poster in it, and use the bigger one for the FOTC poster I got for Christmas. :D
I need more wallspace!

It won't fit the one from last year unless you cut it down. The Detroit poster is 19x25 which is a super funky size, remember? You could have it custom framed but...you said you were cheap ;)

I'll have to double check at WallyWorld.....they have a big selection of sizes. Even if I could get a frame slightly smaller than the one it's in, I'd be happy. I need to re-do a better matte for it anyway. Damn $1 store posterboard paper.....:P

I got a 20 x 26 or 28 and it looks gooorgeous  but it makes my Hollywood Bowl poster look like a shrimp

ktong83 — 21 June 2010 — This is a video demonstrating how my Flight of the Conchords poster (for their show in Amsterdam) can actually be cut out and played with. The costumes and props really fit onto their respective figures.

Please visit http://www.tragicsunshine.com/newsletter in the coming days for information about the upcoming release.

That's how I usually see Jemaine in my dreams. Wearing little but an omnichord and a smile. :D

That seals it. I've been struggling over whether or not to frame my Amsterdam poster. I've decided.

 "I'll take the tiny cardboard cut out of small Bret and then I'll pose him into sensual positions."

That machine that did the delicate cutting....what's that thing called? I must find one for hire. :type:
