But that's Priceline, where you're at their mercy for flight times - I don't have that luxury because of things going on here.
Plus, I really don't like to have to switch planes or deal with stops that make a 4-5 hour flight into a 10 hour one. I'm getting fussy in my old age.
But thanks so much for checking into it, Kelly.

nancy - I just found a flight nonstop for $405. There's one ticket left - here's the website: http://www.cheaptickets.com/App/ViewFli ... terstitial

edit - Oh - I just realized you're trying to fly to Vegas. Yeah that probably won't work. I keep mixing these threads up, sorry!

edit again - So, flying to Vegas is also $405 but there is a stop. You should check out this website though and see if anything fits your schedule, I always find tickets for cheap here.

Aww, mock, thanks so much for checking, but the Saturday bridal shower in RI has now become a must-attend for me. (My daughter is Maid of Honor, but can't make it, so it's up to me to be her rep) :tears:
So, case closed, no meetup for me. It was a nice dream for a couple of days.... :sosad:

Nancy, what if you met up with us in LA? Can you leave Sunday morning early & then return on Tuesday? I just went to Kayak.com and the fare from Providence with connections is $335 OR the fare from Boston Logan nonstop on JetBlue is $379. Come to LA with us instead of Vegas, whadda ya say?

Yis. no. Yis. no. I'd prefer YIS. how about maybe?

Hmm.... Ticketmaster doesn't have tickets for the Vegas show for sale anymore. I wonder if that means it's sold out? :hrm:

Weird! I hope this isn't a bad sign because I really doubt it's sold out. Yesterday there were plenty of tickets available.

I wonder if they re-configured the seating arrangement to a smaller type so there would be no more tickets? Know what I mean?

Silly me I thought this show was sold out long ago. Is Berkeley sold out? Why aren't the US shows as in demand as I would have thought? Is it because the venues are too big? Because they are all in the same part of the country? Or because they didn't really promote a US tour so many people weren't paying attention?

There are seats going on scalper websites going for literally $20. I'm wondering if scalpers are complaining because there is too much supply and not enough demand and so ticketmaster is making them unavailable to take away the supply? That is literally just a wild guess :dunno:

And I think that the guys didn't really publicize the US shows because they didn't want scalpers getting wind and nabbing all the tickets. Plus tickets are twice the price they were last time around and so "casual" fans won't want to pay that much. :dunno:

That would be a new low, even for TM. :?

This is all very strange...someone send Jemaine a message and ask him if he knows anything. ;)
No really...do it, SW.

As Murray would say, the trick to selling out shows is to play small venues. A gig in an RV would have sold out immediately, I'm sure.

Joking aside, I think that this gig was very underpromoted, and it was announced after many people may have already made plans to attend the Hollywood Bowl show. Good thing there are crazy, er, devoted fans like us to go to both shows!

Haha yeah while TM may be in bed with some of the scalpers I doubt they are that far up their bums.
