Wow Rachel, how amazing to have them not only sign your uke, but play it, lovingly...

Can't wait to see the video and hear some about your evening too Venus.

Glad to see your waiting paid off and you got to meet them.
 They signed and played your Uke! That's my dream.

The stories from this tour are warming my heart. B & J (&N) really seem to be having fun, and so many WTFers are coming home with wonderful memories.
You'd have to be deaf to hear that.

Great post Rachel!! What a wonderful experience that must have been! WOO! :whitey:

Also, I suspect I may be looking at all these pics too closely, but... has our Bret split his pants?!

And if so, any volunteers to sew them up? :waggle:

Somehow last night managed to exceed my expectations, I thought it was a great show. And it was so surreal being in the front row and so close to them, I almost felt like I was just watching a youtube video. :D

Yay for all of you! :yay:

Jimmyflo, front row! :supz:

Venus, glad you got to hear Inner City Pressure - it was the first song I ever heard the guys do live.

Rachel, what can I say? How wonderful for you! That uke should be encased in glass and put in a museum.
So glad you made your train - whew!

Here's the video I took! :D

I felt a little bad filming since Bret didn't seem too keen on a few of us filming them (could have been in a jokey way though) but I don't think much else happened after I stopped filming. :)

Yay thank you :prayer:

But I did have to mute when I started to talk, and I'm glad you finished it before it was me asking "can you sign it now" repeatedly and them carrying on playing (they were in the moment)

Yeah I think he was mostly joking Venus cause maybe he was a tidbit embarrassed by how he was having trouble remembering chords. That's how it sounded to me, more like a, "Oh don't record that I sound so bad" kind of playing around bit.

I reallllly have to find a way to bring my uke now!

Hope you can get your uke over, I spent all day trying to decide if I should take it and as you can tell, I'm very glad I did.

Yeah, he probably did mean it that way. Doesn't stop me from being a tad paranoid though lol. He was lovely throughout so my paranoid feelings soon vanished whilst talking to him.

Yes, I loved Nigel's outfit! Unsurprisingly, Nigel was incredibly sweet and I'm glad I got to speak to him for a bit. :)

I'm so glad you decided to bring your uke, rachel! I had a feeling that they were going to come out for a M&G that night so I knew it wouldn't have made a waste journey (if I didn't have that feeling, I wouldn't have stuck around and missed the last train home!). ;)
