Thanks so much, kipples! :D

Aw yeah....

:roll2: I was cracking up myself typing it up! Aww, thank you! Glad you enjoyed reading it! :D

Thanks for that and for all the great pics. I LOVE the one you got of the audience- Wow! I wonder if they get stage fright?? I sure would!

I know! I even got a little self-concious looking back and taking a picture of the crowd. Even with such huge crowds, both Bret and Jemaine seem so comfortable and at ease on stage. 8)

Yes, Jemaine's reaction when he messes up during Prince of Parties was incredibly cute and I'm glad the video is of such high quality to give you all a taster of how it sounded live. Loved it! :D

Another brilliant write up and helped me remember some parts. And for posting the videos. I keep listening to Epileptic Dogs to try and work out what the back half were asked to sing.

Venus wrote: He looked over at someone else to give another example and asked them “What are you wearing?” and repeated it in a deeper voice. I hope a video of this turns up somewhere cos my memory of this part is a little hazy once I noticed Jemaine was talking to me. ;)

I'd forgotten that bit. But now thinking about it, I swear he said something like "sometimes we go pervy on the audience" or "sometimes our talk goes pervy". I'm sure 'pervy' was said in some context because I had some interesting thoughts at that time

No problem! If you do remember anything else that went on that night, feel free to post! :)

Yes! I've been trying to remember the word they used to describe it and it probably was "pervy"! I remember after Jemaine first asked "what are you wearing?" he added "oh that sounds a bit ___" and I couldn't remember the word he used and I knew it had something to do with sounding it kind of sexual and "pervy" definitely fits the bill! It was pretty funny so I hope there's a video of it somewhere! :D

A review in The Express:

REVIEW: FLIGHT OF THE CONCHORDS

Sunday May 30,2010
By Amy Packer

Flight Of The Conchords 4/5

Wembley Arena, London (Tuesday)

They may have a BBC radio show and two series of their HBO comedy under their belts but “New Zealand’s fourth most popular folk-parody duo”, Flight Of The Conchords, wisely haven’t deviated from their original “geeks-with-guitars” schtick, despite now drawing audiences of 12,000 a night.

Brett McKenzie and Jermaine Clement completed their European tour at Wembley Arena on Tuesday interspersing comedy songs with anti-anecdotes about life on the road (the free muffins in their hotel room, the time they thought they were stuck in a lift but weren’t...).

There wasn’t a lot of new material but favourites such as Business Time, a Barry White-style croon charting anything-but-smooth seduction techniques, and Albi The Racist Dragon still hit the spot, while the pair’s constant ad-libbing of lyrics allowed Conchordettes to feel as if they were hearing something original.

My favourite was a new number, the madrigal To Woo A Lady, in which Jermaine sings about hiring a horse in Medieval times (“He said, “There are three things that I must I see/A florin and two forms of ID”/But who has ID in 1353?”), followed closely by the orchestrated failure of sing-a-long charity single Think About The Epileptic Dogs (“Come on and make a donation/Save a shaking dalmatian”).

The Conchords’ cheeky-chappy likeability allows them to pull off bad-taste songs and meandering between-track banter that should be dire but is pitch-perfect from start to finish.

I know, some journalists never learn.

Thanks, JM13! What a great show. It's quite sad that it's all over now though.

Hehe, thanks ladies! I was really chuffed (& ever so slightly embarassed ) that I was the first person in the audience Jemaine chose to speak to. I loved the eye contact because he has gorgeous eyes.

Excellent video of 1353 (Woo A Lady) taken by a girl I met at the Hammersmith Apollo show on the 17th and again Wembley on the 25th. She sat a few seats away from me in the front row so she managed to take this great video:
